Hi I'm Tana. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017. After finishing my studies I completed an internship in the Kruger Nation Park in South Africa where I spent my time working with wildlife. I then worked for two and a half years at a practice in Lincolnshire where I trained under a European Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine and split my time working with exotic species and cats & dogs. I have been working at Clerkenwell since 2020. I'm an all-around vet but my particular areas of interest are neurology and exotics species.

I really enjoy meeting people and being part of a Professional Team plus I love animals which is why I am in my element as the Customer Care Assistant here at Medivet Clerkenwell. When I am not at work I am either at home in the garden with my two gorgeous cats Coffee and Pepper or am out making the most of London, especially the performing arts . I also have been known to do some singing and dancing myself in the occasional Am Dram production. I enjoy the occasional escape to the Country but I am a City girl at heart. I have a keen interest in landscape and habitats in and around the UK, my passion is to garden for Wildlife in an urban environment. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet(s) and helping you get the most out of our practice by familiarising you with the services and products we have available for your pets best care

My dog has been a long Medivet patient since she was a puppy and I cannot recommend them highly enough. All the veterinarians are very kind, patient and thorough in explaining things. Especially Filipa and Mark who were very kind. I am grateful we have a trustworthy vets like Medivet across London.

Had to take my parents' dog in for an eye operation. From the reception staff to the nurses and vets, there was a warm welcome both for myself and the dog. The staff are able to build a rapport quickly. Special thanks to Mark, Karen and Phillipa for dealing with a challenging patient who was intent on escaping from his cone!

Been to countless vets globally, and this one has caused the most traumatic experience for my cat. My cat had always been friendly at vets, even when needled or getting suppository checks etc, always rubbing against the doctors and nurses. However, after a traumatic experience at this vet which handled her very roughly, she is now always afraid to go to vets and hisses at the doctors and nurses. This vet has even lost her favourite blanket overnight which I repeatedly requested that they hold on to. They seem to do okay with simple checks and treatment, but for a more complex procedure or treatment, not nearly as close. Please choose your vet wisely. There are plenty of vets that handle animals gently and with care and empathy. Note that this bad experience was many years ago so the clinic may have changed for the better but I haven’t revisited them since.

We had a wonderful experience at the clinic thanks to Elodie, who was incredibly gentle and caring with our cat. She made the whole visit calm and reassuring, we couldn’t be more grateful for her outstanding care. A big thank you as well to the lovely receptionist, whose kindness and warmth made everything feel even more comforting. It’s clear both genuinely care about cats, and it made all the difference!

The vets and nurses are always kind and compassionate. They have been wonderful with our very elderly cats, providing excellent care and advice about balancing the benefits with giving them a peaceful old age.

My dog loves visiting Medivet and he especially loves Holly his vet together with all the staff. They make such a fuss of him. He actually pulls me once we get nearby.

Not great, I booked for a dental package - seems I could only book at the time of booking for 'free dental check' and the very small print showed a limited time for the dental package which I hadn't seen and didn't make itself known when I booked the check - very misleading ad, vet I saw couldn't have been quicker, looked at cat, spoke very quickly and I was out. Didn't feel confident she was doing any more than box ticking.

So welcoming, nice and professional! Our first visit to Clerkenwell branch and both the receptionist lady and Anoushka (the vet who saw Pepe and gave the booster vaccine) were super nice! They answered thousands of my questions and were very thorough with the check-up and the vaccine process! Will definitely be back in this branch as the staff is brilliant!!!
