Medivet & Partners.
It's more than just a name

At Medivet, we believe the best way to help pets and their owners live their best lives together is through partnership. That's why many of our vets aren't just part of the team, they're Partners - with a stake in their practice, their community, and your pets' wellbeing.

Together, as Partners, we'll recommend the right care at the right time. Care that suits your pet, you and your budget. What does that mean in practice? We'll let our Partners explain...

Partners in your pet's care

"Being a Medivet Partner means I don't just work here - I co-own the practice. And having grown up here in Yateley, I'm thrilled to be back home.

When you bring your pet to me, you're not just another appointment. You're a neighbour I'm looking after. I hope to be the vet you really trust here, for many years to come."

Sophie Carman BVSc CertAVP PgCertVPS MRCVS, Medivet Yateley

Local, but never alone

”We know your pets. We know their quirks, their history, the thing that always worries you. And we also know when it's the right time to bring in our network of specialists.

Within an hour, we can get specialist advice, arrange any tests we might need, and get to diagnoses that would otherwise have taken weeks.

By combining independent clinical leadership with the strength of the wider Medivet network, we can make sure your pet receives exceptional care close to home."

Looking after you - as well as your pet

"My passion's always been to provide exceptional care that recognises no two pets - or their owners - are the same. That's why I take pride in making sure there's the time to explain what's happening and what the options are to treat each animal as an individual.

Being a Partner means committing to the wellbeing of every pet and the peace of mind of their owners. Every wagging tail and grateful smile from a relieved pet parent reminds me why this matters."

Everyday care that's covered and clear

"As someone local to Taunton, I'm passionate about delivering excellent care to the community I call home and keeping our pets happy and healthy.

I also believe caring for your pet should feel straight forward – especially keeping on top of preventative health care of your pets, including vaccines. That's why we have the Medivet Healthcare Plan, so you can keep your pet's care on track, with fewer surprises along the way.

Together with my team, we're committed to caring for pets and their owners at every visit."

Victoria Woods-Tickett BVM BVS CertAVP MRCVS, Medivet Taunton

One clear price for out-of-hours emergencies

"When your pet's unwell, decisions can feel overwhelming, especially if it's late at night or at the weekend, it's a worry that often comes with an extra question. Should I wait
until morning, or do I need help now?

Medivet's out-of-hours fee removes that uncertainty. A consultation costs £130, wherever you are in the country, between 7pm and 9am*.

I believe your pet should receive the care that best supports their health and wellbeing, whatever the time."
