The vet was able to cut my extremely nervous dog's nails, I have taken him to multiple places over the years and had to give up due to how distressed he was, the vet and her assistant put my dog at ease and I was given lots of advice re food, dental health etc

This vet tried forcing me to put my pet down for a wrongly diagnosed cut tongue! I don’t think having a cat who has a cut tongue warrants being put down anyway! But she didn’t even look properly just looked me up and down told me she doubted that I had KLARNA! She was wrong there too! I had just made the last payment for my husband’s cremation and thought I was registered with PDSA, none of that warranted the treatment that I was given or the negligence and cruelty that was given to my kitten!
I recorded the whole conversation and they were happy for me to do that, probably assuming I hadn’t done that either. THANKFULLY TINY PAWS IN ABERDARE SAW HER IMMEDIATELY, gave her pain relief STRAIGHT AWAY WHICH BY THE WAY IS THE LAW! Found out that she had burned her tongue on either a plant or spice and just couldn’t use her tongue because it was so painful! Thankfully she was much better in the morning! Still needed feeding by hand but thats not a problem atleast she’s alive! You cant take that mistake away!

The vet we saw, Michaela, was fantastic in the way she cared for my dog while examining him. He is incredibly anxious at the vets and she gave him time and patience so as not to distress him further.
I also contacted Medivet the next day for further advice as we had discussed this might be the case, and again it was no trouble for Michaela to accommodate the needs of my dog.
