We waited for over 20 mins past our appointment time, with no reason given as to why the vet was running late or an apology for keeping us waiting so long. 😞

I have been using Coventry’s Upper York Street
branch of Medivet for almost 16 years. The customer service used to be absolutely flawless but the receptionists currently there barely make eye contact with you and make you feel unwelcome (especially the Lady with the long grey hair!) Referring to our cat and dog as ‘the dog’ ‘the cat’ whereas over previous years, the receptionists were warm, kind and friendly. Such a shame to see the decline. The vets are generally very good although we rarely get to see the same ones. Perhaps the turnover is high… Tiago is amazing but unfortunately our pets appointments rarely get assigned to him. I would definitely have recommended this branch over the years but suggest people shop around, do their research before signing up.

My dog is extremely anxious and I was able to send photos and videos of Milo's problem to the vet. He then did a telephone consultation with me, it was not necessary to take Milo for a face to face appointment. I was then able to go to the practice and get Milo's prescription and pay the bill. This was a huge help as Milo has to go through the "chill protocol" for vet appointments.

As usual being an OAP £200+ is a lot of money all in one go, but hey, thats the price you have to pay for being a pet owner these days .
