My phone calls 2025 The reception team where so helpful and knowledgeable and professional taking there time to explain all that I needed plus e mailing me important information the vets visit was very useful and I gained the advice I needed from the appointment , March 2026 jabs and general health checks, on my visit I saw Vet Helen Brazil the lady was first class friendly professional , Benji was so well looked after and relaxed I would definitely recommend this practice to everyone thank you

I would prefer if the practice returned to an independent establishment run by the vets working there.

Can’t thank the practice enough , the reception teams are so good, professional keen to help , and you can see how much they love the animals they look after
The lady vet I saw was Helen Brazil , so good , I took my sons dog Benji , we both where relax a nice clean area , Benji had his injections plus a full health check , the care given was first class my Sons dog is 11, I have been coming to the vet practice for years , I 100% recommended this practice and the staff involved ,
7-50 am Me and Benji where greeted at the gate by a young nurse who went out of her way to fuss Benji
that’s special I will be back next March as normal thank you

The vet seemed like she didn’t want to be there and that everything was too much trouble. Am actually thinking about changing practice after this visit.

My dog was hiding under the chair waiting for her appointment.
The vet was ok - but my dog felt her booster jab and never had before.

Alterations to surgery. No waiting room and having to re ring and book yourself in as well as waiting in the cold not acceptable. Provision for temp reception should have been considered beforehand.

We were not warned off delayed refurbishment work so stood outside in the cold and wet. Not great service

Was alittle confusing getting into the the vets for our appointment but that was only due to them having a refurbishment.
But once in it was run really well the staff were lovely and friendly.
They looked after my cat really well. Im happy I chose this veterinary practice 😌

Practice Accreditations
I experienced an increase of over £100 from booking appointments to turning up at the clinic ( 2 weeks apart) I asked for the price over the phone and was told the price would be capped at £750 yet on the day it climbed to over £850. At the clinic when I challenged the price (before surgery) I was told because “I” didn’t get this price confirmed in writing they would not honour the price given to be over the phone.
My issue is the way I was communicated with throughout-receptionist on booking and the lack of transparency and then manager at the clinic was rude to me and approached me and the conversation very defensively. Showed no empathy towards mistakes that I feel were the clinics fault and not my own.
Thankfully my dog came out of his procedure safe and well but we will not be setting foot inside a medivet clinic again.
