Meet our Partner, Sam Hornsey
Sam graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2018. Following a role in a teaching hospital in Canada, he then completed an internship at Fitzpatrick Referrals in Surrey. In January 2025, Sam completed his Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice at the University of Liverpool, focusing on surgery. He also has three publications in veterinary journals, covering research in surgery, cardiology and neurology. Sam is local to Kent, growing up around Broadstairs and Sandwich. Most importantly, he owns a black Labrador called Margo, who you may see chasing after tennis balls or squirrels in the Faversham Rec.

The staff here are amazing, kind, friendly and very helpful and even though this isn't my our local vet they still see my cat the same day. The vet ambulance driver picked him up and dropped him off and he was seen and back with us all within 4 hours, the driver was lovley and just overall the service was brilliant.

I couldn’t be happier with everything- from booking to collection. All staff members were friendly, professional and thoughtful and although Tiger looks like a little alien, she’s already a more comfortable and happy cat. Thanks again for doing such a great job with her.
