The practice is now being run by 2 permanent vets.We attended this morning with our greyhound for her annual health check and vaccinations.We were very impressed with all aspects of our visit. There is an open day on Saturday 7th February 11-1 to give people the opportunity to meet the new vets and look around the practice.

This practice is now being run by 2 permanent vets We attended on Friday 23rd January 2026 with our greyhound for her annual health check and vaccinations. We were very impressed with all the aspects of our visit The practice is having an open day on Saturday 7th February from 11-1 to give people the opportunity of looking round the practice and meeting the staff We have been clients of this practice for 41 years and have seen the changes which have occurred during that time

Excellent service. Paisley made myself and more importantly Ella feel totally at ease and relaxed. She went into great detail around her history and came out with a treatment plan that not only suited Ella but was also very competitive on price. I would highly recommend Medivet Matlock, especially Paisley. Again thank you.

Cannot thank Paisley enough. She was so kind, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. She greeted both myself and Ella warmly and got to know her prior to starting her exam. She was very thorough in asking about past history and treatments. Ella was so calm and relaxed throughout the whole exam. Cannot thank paisley enough. I would highly recommend her and her practice. I would like to thank the locum vet I saw (Anna) for the care she took with my elderly rabbits, the advice she offered and how seriously she took the loss of condition in one of them. I am confident that with the practice‘s advice and support, my pets have several years left yet!

Nose-to-tail health check
We're excited to announce that we're now offering a new nose-to-tail health check, discounted up to 25%. This includes a coat examination, body conditioning check, mobility assessment plus a flea, tick, teeth and ear check. If required your pet can also receive a nail clip.
