Even 1star rating is too much for medivets dartford! Probably ok for the most basic pet care but forget it if its more complicated. You never see the same vet twice, inconsistent advice & nothing followed up. I feel the vets working here are just passing time until something better comes along as they are not bothered & apart from one young vet I saw most seem in a hurry & flustered trying to understand previous notes which in my case were always different to what actually came out the vets mouth.

Have been understaffed for two years and are only for appointments Monday to Friday ‘like normal vets’. Except normal vets can get general appointments on a weekend. If staff don’t want to work here they should be looking at the management for answers

I was in an overnight emergency with my dog because she was having trouble giving birth. There were two very caring ladies who helped me perfectly. They were professional and empathetic. The doctor is a Polish woman, I don't know her name, this person deserves everything. He is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful person. She explained everything to me and calmed me down. And it also helped my dog perfectly. I am grateful to her.

I was a long time client at Medivet Gravesend and now live in Cambridge. I turned to this emergency vet after my Patterdale suffered a seizure this morning. My non-Medivet practice here told me I could take him in and they would put him to sleep. I was horrified. The receptionist who took my call at Medivet Dartford was wonderful and my huge thanks go to her and the wonderful vet who advised me over the 'phone. My Patterdale has eaten a light lunch and has perked up. It's back to a Medivet Practice for me tomorrow. Thank you so very much💙

Horrible service and I honestly believe they are scammers. As a first-time pet owner, I feel they took advantage of me. I called to inquire about a health plan and was told it would be £15 a month. They took my details and scheduled an appointment for my puppy. At the appointment, my puppy was checked and given flea and worming treatment by a very kind gentleman, and I was charged £16.98. When I asked if they needed anything else from me, they said no. The following month, my partner took our puppy in, and he was told there was nothing to pay. Later, I received a £40 bill via email stating that I owed them money. When I called to discuss this, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. She blamed me, stating no one would have taken details over the phone, even though they confirmed my puppy was on file (how else would they have had this information?). She said the charges couldn’t be backdated and threatened to send the debt to collectors if I didn’t pay, claiming I wasn’t on the plan I initially called about. When I explained that it was unfair to blame me, a first-time pet owner who trusted their customer service, she interrupted me, implied I was the problem, and was condescending from the start. She refused to give me her name, ignored my repeated requests, and even asked for my card details over the phone, contradicting her earlier statement that they never take details this way. When I questioned her about ignoring me, she said, "I don't need to give you my name." I am appalled by the service I received and the misleading charges. I feel taken advantage of and will never give them my business again.

I had an appalling experience over the phone with a staff member who was not only disrespectful but also rude to both me and my partner. Their behavior was extremely abusive. Moreover, I was overcharged on two bookings, and despite repeated attempts, they failed to set up a pet plan for over a month. They took no accountability for their mistakes. I strongly advise everyone to stay away at all costs.

Recently took both our German Shepherd dogs for a check up, the staff were friendly and professional especially as l have a dog who is super reactive
