I very rarely share feedback but felt compelled to share this for the benefit of other pet owners. This is very very disappointing experience from start to finish. The team didn’t respond to various enquiries to book in for a dog scan. On the day of the scan, there was zero form of contact. Dropped my dog off at 8am, we called at 4pm to find out the latest only to be hold other urgent cases took priority. This is fine but please make contact especially as they knew my dog is ultra sensitive and suffers badly from anxiety. Goodness knows what pain and suffering my dog went through waiting patiently for over 8 hours. The results took weeks to share. There was a mix up between the Medivet branch that referred her and this branch. Again, no contact! It was us having to call various times. But of course payment was required £2000+ completion of the scan. I will steer well clear from this branch going forward. Ultra disappointing experience from start to finish! Oh yes, 1 month later,, I have still not received my written report. Another call I need to make!

More expensive than other vets and the service is a disaster. I’ve informed them a month ago that I’m traveling with my pet and I informed them to which location and day before the trip they said they can’t issue the documents and the rabbies certificate that they gave me was wrong and also they did a blood test for my dog which cost 160£ and apparently is not valid now because they failed to inform me that the test shouls be done 30 days after the vaccination. The vets that take in my dogs constantly change, nobody cares about them or the money we are paying for it. Very very disappointing, if you love your pet find another vet.

Even 1 star is too much for them! These people are interested only in taking money! The wellbeing of the animal is their last concern! My advice is go somewhere else there are many practices where the vets really love animals and do their best to help them but Medivet is not that kind of place

I just signed up and went for the first check for my cat. The whole team has been very nice and kept me up to date throughout the easy process to get onto the pet plan. It's the first time my cat was so calm at the Vet and this is thanks to Clara who was very nice and sweet whilst visiting him and had lots of advice.

Stupidly expensive for a consultation as after 6 30 is considered out of hours, should be a crime to charge that much for less than 10 mins of talking. I wont ever recommend Medivets to anyone unless they have no choice and waited ages anyway if my pup was in a worse condition I probably would have still had to wait as under staffed.

I am grateful to Medivet for being open 24 hours and helping out in emergencies. But I am not happy with their well cat care. We had to have our cat euthanised and I believe she could have lived better or longer had she had better wellness care. When the vet came over (from Cloud 9, not Medivet) to euthanise her, she said we could have taken better care of her teeth, which were bleeding with an abscess. She could have had teeth cleaning under anesthesia when she was younger. Instead she eventually had to have most of her teeth pulled out, and her remaining ones became infected. Also, we have been bringing her in every three weeks for the last several months to get weighed or for blood tests or for antibiotic (for her tooth infections) and B12 shots. And at no point did the Medivet vets say she also has an ear infection. I asked the Cloud 9 vet about the black spots in her ear, and this could have easily been spotted by the Medivet vet, but it never was. That could have given our cat some comfort. So again, good for emergencies, but I am now looking for a vet who cares to improve and maximise my pets' lives.

Beware of Their Unethical Practices I recently had an unfortunate experience with Medivet that I feel compelled to share. It became evident very quickly that this clinic is more interested in lining their pockets than in the welfare of the animals they are supposed to care for. During my visit, my dog was in visible distress and in pain. The staff took advantage of my anxiety and suggested a plethora of tests and procedures, many of which were unnecessary and clearly intended to inflate the final bill. In my desperation to help my dog, I agreed to some of these additional services, such as blood tests. Despite repeatedly requesting the results, I still have not received them. The staff seemed more focused on upselling services rather than addressing the immediate health concerns of my pet. It’s disheartening to see a place that should prioritize animal care operating like a money-making scheme. I strongly advise anyone seeking genuine, compassionate care for their pets to look elsewhere. Save yourself from the stress and financial burden—there are far better vets out there who actually care about your pet’s well-being.

The staff was incredibly professional and compassionate. Prompt thorough examination, combined with clear and compassionate communication, made a stressful situation much more manageable. I’m so glad for everything they did for my dog. I highly recommend for anyone looking for knowledgeable veterinary care
