Meet our Partner, Mark Taylor
I qualified in 1998 and have worked in the local area since then which makes me very proud to have long relationships with many of our clients. I am a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner In Small Animal Surgery; having gained extra qualifications in Small Animal Surgery. These include a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and a Post Graduate Certificate in Surgery. Early 2023 I became a Partner and opened Medivet Bermuda Park. I carry out referral surgical procedures for local practices as well as my regular veterinary care for our registered clients. I aim to continue with exciting developments for my practice over the coming years.

Brilliant service. Helpful, polite and knowledgeable. We have moved our cats to this branch from a different Medivet branch due to moving which gave me fear as we knew the vets well at the other branch. The staff here are just as great! Very pleased with the staff and the Medivet group as always:)

Staff and nurses always take good care of my pet but the cost seems to keep going up for a quick 10 minute tooth file with a nurse. The insurance does not cover rabbit tooth filing and at £32 a month it gets quite expensive.

Appointment was about an hour late due to an emergency admission. Staff were apologetic about this. The vet we saw was lovely! Very caring towards our cat and completed a thorough check!

BOAS surgery (referrals)
BOAS stands for Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome, a breathing condition often seen in flat-faced breeds like French bulldogs, pugs and Persian cats. Surgery to widen the nostrils and ease the soft palate can make day-to-day breathing easier for the right pet. We accept referrals from local vets, and we'll always work alongside the team who knows your pet best.

Orthopaedic care
When a pet starts limping, going up the stairs more slowly, or refusing the walk they used to love, it's often a joint, ligament or bone behind it. Our team looks after orthopaedic cases from the first consultation through to surgery and follow-up, with imaging and theatres on site. The sooner we have a look, the more we can usually do.

Nurse consultations
We offer nurse-led clinics five days a week to help with your regular pet-care needs. Our nurses offer a number of consultations, including blood pressure checks, health checks between boosters, puppy and kitten advice, nutritional guidance, weight management and post-operative care.
