I absolutely love the team at Brampton and the work that we do for our clients and patients. We are a small practice but we make a big difference in our community. I live in Cambridge with my beautiful Hungarian Wirehaired Visla called Pippa. I'm best known for my terrible sense of humour and contagious laugh. I look forward to meeting you all!

I started back in November 2020 as a Patient Care Assistant and I am delighted to continue my veterinary nursing journey at Medivet Brampton. I adore my job, the team I work with, our clients and taking care of their fur babies. I enjoy all aspects of my job and how no two days are the same! Outside of work I love musical theatre, singing with a local choir and I am a keen baker. I have a special interest in feline behaviour, especially as I have three kitties at home: Gingey, Lychee and Maki.

Client Care Assistant

I have worked at Brampton since 2004 when I moved from London to St Neots. I enjoy meeting all the patients and clients very much and have built good relationships with many of them over the years. On my return from Covid, a stray cat was brought in, in a very bad condition. I was lucky enough to be able to give a home to, called Maisie, who you can see in my picture. She is very feisty but has been a welcomed addition to the family after we lost my dog Ross. My two sons are what I am most proud of and spending time with them is what makes me most happy.

Vets don't seem to be around much, today and on other occasions I've had to take my dog to St ives for treatment. Not quite sure why quite often there are not any vets on site. Not a way to run a practice.

Hard at times to get appointments, however I always try to get vet zhelen. Brilliant, kind and understanding. My dog is extremely nervy, but once being with Helen, she is totally relaxed and at ease.

Sadly my dog Pluto had to be pts on Monday due to age and being very unwell. Helen the vet was amazing, very compassionate and understanding. She explained everything and gave me as much time as needed to make the decision to be with my furbaby whilst he passed. A huge thank you to her and the 2 young ladies on reception who were also very supportive. A credit to the practice

Usual genuine care and concern for my dog- nice! Seeing same vet each time a big positive as they get to know your pet and vice versa! Makes for a much better experience all round!

Sadly on Monday I had to put my 14yr old dog to sleep. As you can imagine I was deverstated. The team at medivet Brampton were amazing. I never felt rushed, they supported me, they were caring and I knew they would take good care of my dog even when I wasn't there. Amazing team and service! Highly recommend for all your animal needs.

The vets and the nurses have so far gone above and beyond to ensure the health of my pets is the best it can be. Even at the most at the emotional times they have offered reassurance and sent a card at the time when the moment was just right to accept the sad moment of loss. Thoughtful and as expected, pets come first.

I have 4 cats. It was very easy to book through the phone. 1 of my girls was spayed and the service during and after procedure was excellent so far. Staff is very friendly and welcome. Their care plan pack is very good. As I have some mobility issues I am very happy with the parking spaces, also. Thank you.
