I'm Leonardo, the Canonbury lead vet. My journey began in Italy, where I graduated from the University of Teramo in 2016. Shortly after, I moved to the UK, spending four years building a strong foundation in first-opinion practice in Cardiff. This was followed by invaluable internships at two leading specialist veterinary hospitals, Lumbry Park and Hamilton Specialists, where I learned from and was inspired by exceptional colleagues. Currently, I'm dedicated to pursuing my surgical certificate, with a particular passion for orthopaedics and a wide range of surgical procedures. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy life with my partner, Eunice, and our adorable mini lop bunny, Daisy, and enjoy exploring London.

Rude, only want money! Paid for anal glands clean to then still have a dog in pain! Begged them to find out why but because I didnt have the full amount of money that day they refused to help! Then i find out after another vet looked was that her glands were still very full and almost infected! But you wanted more money for the job I already paid you to do, I left crying because my dog was in pain and no one cared you just asked for more money! But yet this was because you didn't do your job in the 1st place!

Money grabbing b words! Pretend to care until you have no money! My dog was in pain i had half the amount I just needed help! I would have paid the rest as soon as it came into my account but because that second in time I didn't have enough you couldn't care less! U loved her cuddles but didn't care she was in pain! The amount i have spent in there! Then to find out i paid for an anal glands clean told was nothing there and she's fine! No because less than a week later another vet cleared to find it was so full it was becoming infected! So I wasted money thinking you helped her but then you wanted more! More money to do the job I already paid you to do!!! Unless!

Really disrespectful and unprofessional experience here. The vets I've seen are good however Jennifer the manager who seemed understanding initially and then sent a very uncalled for dismissal email, and then a man named Paul at reception who has continusly been dismissive, including ignoring an email about an urgent matter for my cat, they both are way out of line and unprofessional. Paul was rude to me and passive aggresively interupting my civil chat with the manager who did not care to address his behaviour at all - is this acceptable treatment towards a client or any human being? When you decide to finish your pet care plan instead of continuing, instead of asking you if everything is ok, they throw a bunch of last minute additional fees at you to squeeze out what they can. Luckily I know my facts and how to stand my ground, I worry for those who they can easily manipulate and bully. They are also selective of who they treat nicely ,) - bias behaviour. Instead of taking on client feedback and speaking to their staff accordingly, for example the passive aggressive person Paul at reception, they randomly email saying they no longer can offer you services as they feel the trust has been broken and it is important to them. Right, words are easily put together but action speaks louder. If you prioritise the client and business relationship then you take on client negative experience and feedback seriously, and not divert blame on to the client and get rid of them! Incredibly unprofessional and completely avoidant of taking any ownership of their mistakes, and rather push away a client without taking any accountability whatsoever. I was leaving anyway so I'm unsure why I needed an email sent out to me? Extremely poor and disgusting treatment I've received here. Please do not take this review lightly if you are thinking of joining Medivet Canonbury.

Paul at reception is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. As I was on the last month of my 12 month pet care plan, he tried to charge for everything under the sun, and out of line. After having to explain to both the vet and manager Jennifer, the issue was eventually dealt with appropriately. Even so, when speaking to the manager, Paul came up to us and started very passive aggressively standing in front of me as I was sat down and tried to call me a liar when everything is in email, recorded phone calls and camera. I noticed he treats other clients nicely and has always treated me poorly, I think strongly feel that unconscious bias training should be provided for him if he is still in the practice working with people from the public.
The vet lady was lovely and helpful.
Jennifer, the manager was helpful after explaining the situation and very necessary in this really abruptive situation. I was worried about my pet and to be met with so many additional charges raised at me right after my appointment was completely unprofessional and hostile!

This medivet receptionist the man is utterly rude and aggressive towards myself and others had a bad experience no one should feel humiliated by his behaviour I would get proper well mannered and managed receptionist as I will not be coming here again
