We're a capable and experienced team based in Clerkenwell who deliver exceptional client and patient care. Find a full range of veterinary services and facilities, including nurse clinics and dental procedures. We currently take local referrals for small animal eyelid and corneal surgery and second opinions on ophthalmology cases. We look forward to welcoming you and your pet to our practice.

Our exotic pet service
As well as caring for the community's cats and dogs, the team here at Medivet Clerkenwell look after exotic animals such as reptiles, birds and other small mammals. *

Ophthalmology
Our lead vet has a Certificate in Ophthalmology and interest in Ophthalmology. We currently take local referrals for small animal eyelid and corneal surgery and second opinions on ophthalmology cases.

CT Scans
We can offer CTs in central London. Standard turn around is 7 working days but we can offer a priority service with turnaround in 4 hours as long as it is in working hours.

My puppy has been with Medivet Clerkenwell since he came home 9 weeks ago and has met every vet (& probably most team members) by now. The team are compassionate and understanding of my needs and my pup’s, often going above & beyond. Visits are always on time and efficient. Never met a puppy who loves going to the vet before... but mine does. Thanks, Medivet Clerkenwell team!

I had a nightmare with my pet conure, and could find no exotic bird vets. Although there wasn’t a specialist, the team at medivet still booked me for an appointment and gave me so much advice which no other vet would. I ended up contacting VPIS which was what I needed to do. I’m so thankful for my interaction, they really do have your pets best interests at heart and I would recommend this vet to everyone. Thank you for being so helpful

The Medivet team took great care of my 2 kittens when they came in to be spayed. Communicated clearly on the procedure and after care and provided helpful tips. Reception is also very friendly and helpful. I wanted a specific type of cat food and they were more than happy to look for it and order it. Thanks team!

The vet was very professional and friendly as was the receptionist. One thing I will say is that Medivet is a big corporation owned by a series of shady bankers. They don't offer their vets full time contracts and they monopolise the market with over inflated prices. It's the way of the world I guess but doesn't make it right.

I took my Pomeranian puppy here for an emergency appointment they was able to see him within the hour. He had two broken legs I can’t honestly thank the team enough to how supportive they was and the level of urgency they had for Enzo. The whole team are amazing and you can see how much they love and care for animals.

Tana has been great with my Guinea Pig, every time I’ve had to take her to see her, she has been so helpful and caring. I feel like she has always been super honest, with plenty of guidance and support. I feel confident that my pets are in good and knowledgeable hands.
