My first time here since the new team took over and I had to give them 5 stars after the care and attention they gave my cat. Everyone went above and beyond, couldn’t have asked for better treatment

The staff at Medivet Dalston go above and beyond. I brought my dog Frank in with an ear infection that had been playing havoc. He is a naturally nervous dog and yet was made to feel so comfortable by the wonderful vets and nurses. Dalston really specializes in making your animal feel comfortable, Frank barely cared that he was in an unfamiliar environment and in a few days, his ear issues were sorted. He's now back to his normal self and that's all thanks to the lovely staff and service we received. They are a credit to the practice and we're very lucky to call this our local vets!

I would like to put a complaint about my pet treatment yesterday if someone could get back to me iam not happy with the vet dismissal and still no treatment plan was up all night making sure he didn't choke on his vomit and rang emergency vets worried. Not right

The new team there are absolutely amazing! Customer service is everything to me and the receptionist was so lovely. The veterinarian Tara, was absolutely wonderful with my boy who is a rescue so can be very nervous and reactive. I’m so relieved with the good energy there now. I joined with Medivet Dalston 6 years ago and the team was wonderful back then. Then there seemed to be a switch up with all the staff a couple of years later and the service went really down hill so I moved to Canonbury Medivet (where the team are amazing) but due to the permit/parking change I decided to make my most recent appointment with the Dalston branch (and was dreading it) so it was a pleasant surprise seeing the new team!

Everyone at the Dalston branch is incredible, Christian and all the nurses take extremely good care of our very elderly cat. His life has been saved on multiple occasions by the amazing team over the years - and it’s testament to their expertise and care that he’s still around at an estimated 26yrs and counting! Thank you for everything, so much.

I would never normally leave a review – especially three years after the incident – but it is only since moving and reregistering at a different vets have I come to see how shockingly poor the care my dog received here. He is extremely scared of the vets, and I put this all down to his experience at Medivet Dalston. He was put under for a straightforward procedure (neutering), but was not sedated or monitored correctly and woke up during his surgery. I received a phone call from the vet to say the ‘surgery went well’ (?!?) but that I needed to pay for antibiotics as they can’t be sure he ‘didn’t get to the wound’. On picking him up, he was heavily, heavily sedated and confused. They had also attached a huge white plaster across his wound (on shaved skin), which got covered in urine and had to be removed, an extremely traumatic and painful experience for him that left him with aggravated skin. My dog has had two further procedures since then (teeth cleaning / removal) at my new vets, and I have never seen him come out of surgery in the condition he came out at Medivets. I can’t recommend against this vets more.

I felt very happy about the treatment that I got from medivet Dalston. It was easy to get an appointment, the receptionist was polite and helpful and the vet Christian was very understanding and not judgemental about the bad flea infestation that my dog has.He gave me plenty of time and a lot of very good advice as well as the correct medicine. I didn't feel he was pushing expensive treatments at me I just felt that he wanted to help me and my dog. 24 hours later I have actioned all the things that he advised and my dog is visibly, and more happy.

Medivet Dalston is our closest local vet but i'm afraid we've had terrible service. On one occasion when i had to wait 10 mins to get into the building because no one was at the desk the vet then took me back, left the room, and my dog ran out. To my horror I saw that the front door of the vet was now propped open too and he ran straight out onto the incredibly busy Dalston lane due to the practice's total negligence. On another occasion we arrived 15 minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances and they refused to see us despite my dog being unwell. Terrible Terrible service. Do Not Use.
