Meet our Partner, Elinor Jones

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012 and have spent my time working in companion animal clinics in South Wales. I joined Medivet in 2018 as a mobile vet working within the six practices. I became a Partner in the Dinas Powys clinic in December 2022. I enjoy all aspects of the role but am particularly fond of medicine, rabbits and guinea pigs. My hobbies include fishkeeping, knitting and crocheting. In my spare time I can normally be found looking after my cats, dog, turtles and fish.

Hello! My name is Amanda Santry and I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) working here at Medivet Dinas Powys. I have been with the practice since December 2024 but have spent the previous four years working in a 24 hour hospital working nights and weekends and seeing a variety of different cases – like an animal accident & emergency! I am a self-proclaimed nerd; I usually have my nose in a book and I love running tabletop games with friends. I have two cats called Luffy and Nami who came in as strays in my previous job and mean the absolute world to me. I look forward to meeting you all and all of you lovely pets!

Saved my fur baby’s life, can’t thank them enough. If it wasn’t for them, he wouldn’t be here today. Ellie, Megan and Ziska went above and beyond, Georgie and Millie both sat with him when he came around from his operations both times. All of them in dinas are friendly and overall amazing people. Alfie now LOVES the vets because all his friends are there ❤️🐾🐾 1st photo when he came home the first time 2nd photo when he had his 1st op 3rd today

MediVet are staff are always kind and patient. My dog is a large breed and can be a little bit reactive but the staff are always super patient and kind whenever we visit which makes the experience so much easier. Always have the best interests of you and your pet at heart.

The vet was very understanding about Alfie’s situation about not liking the vet. Alfie is my new rescue dog so came with issues which we are trying to work through. The vet didn’t try to stress Alfie more than he was already
. I think we have a plan going forward for how to act before and during any future visits.
