The vet and receptionist were great with my dog who'd recently had surgery after an accident when we were away in Scotland. My dog was very nervous and was shaking, howling and barking. They were patient, understanding and professional dealing with his dressing change and post op appointment.

This particular visit was our best so far for an annual check up. Our dogs were not anxious at all, they seemed at ease with the vet. I only wished we could book with the same vet each time, but we have seen a different vet every 6 months! The receptionist on this occasion was extremely helpful

Medivet has cared well for our pets.
Their pricing for operations can be very muddled though, especially if you have a Medivet plan with them, we got quoted 5 different prices to have our dog spayed, have no idea if what we paid in the end was correct, but it seemed reasonable 🤷♀️
It would be helpful if they had a system that kept on top of due meds if you have a plan with them and to make sure those meds are available.
The pre and post operative care has been really good, Stefan did a great job when he spayed our dog, she healed really quickly with no complications and the anaesthetist Julie took great care of Bella during and after Bella’s operation….In this respect, we couldn’t have hoped for more.

Great veterinary centre, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely vets, brilliant with pets and their wellbeing. My cat can be quite feisty but was gentle as a lamb in the vets hands.

We had a very disappointing experience with Medivet.
Before our visit, my wife and I spoke with the reception/customer service team and were clearly told that, as my wife receives Universal Credit, we would get at least a 25% discount. We were also informed that the first visit would be free.
However, when we arrived, none of this was honoured. Not only did we not receive any discount, but we were also charged £56 for the consultation.
To be fair, the vet himself was professional and helpful. But the reception/customer service was very poor – misleading, unprofessional, and not transparent. We felt pressured and misinformed.
This kind of communication is unacceptable, especially when people rely on clear information about costs before attending.
I hope Medivet improves its customer service and ensures accurate information is given to clients in the future.
