I love the team at Medivet Hucknall. The receptionist is incredibly helpful and friendly. Always treating people with the utmost respect. The vet tech's are friendly, helpful and professional. The vets are friendly, professional, caring and most of all they really make you feel like your pet's health is important to them. I would highly recommend the entire team! Medivet is a really caring veterinary clinic. Tilly is currently receiving treatment. Yesterday I phoned to get emergency appointment and vet was able to see Tilly at 915am they treated her and took bloods, I received the results at 3pm. Unfortunately Tilly was still not well today I phoned for appointment and got same day appointment. I arrived early. The receptionist checked with vet and I was seen straight away. All staff are really empathetic and friendly and have time to reassure you and answer any questions. There are treats for cats and dogs in the waiting room. There are also blankets you can use to cover cat carriers if you need one. And if the little candle (battery operated) is on it means someone’s beloved pet has passed ensuring other people waiting are aware.

We have used Medivet for a number of years, and our cats have always had good care. Even when we have had to seek emergency care they have always been there to help.

We recently had to have a few emergency appointments for her cat, and then sadly, she had to be put down. Medivet was utterly wonderful, compassionate, and thoughtful, every single step of the way, even sending us a handwritten card with their condolences after the fact. We've never had a bad experience with any of their staff, they've always been very warm and personable. Thank you for turning a very difficult series of appointments into something dignified for our cat and manageable for us. Can't recommend this vets more.

Agnes, the vet at Buckley House Hucknall has been amazing with my dog! He can be challenging, and other vets in the past have refused to work with him but Agnes has taken time, patience and care to build a relationship with him to support him through his fear and anxiety around being examined. She is a huge credit to Medivet and we are so grateful for all the hard work she’s put in to our dog. We have had some other great vets here previously with our current and previous dog, but mostly locums and we really needed to get consistency with this vet me due to his behaviour and fear. The team understood and worked with us to put this into place. The reception team are friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The pet plan is brilliant. Thank you all!
