I started working at WellCare in February 2024. I thoroughly enjoy my role as I get to meet and help many people and their pets. I love animals especially horses. I have owned my horse, Missy for 11 years and I've always been brought up with animals so this is a perfect job for me. Outside of work I enjoy taking my son to his swimming lessons and the farm.

Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Southend practice is so much better in every aspect. If it wasn’t for the convenience, I would move permanently to the Southend practice.

I have begrudgingly put 1 star because i had to...I am Absolutely disgusted and let down... I initially needed to change my dog's vet surgery as my local branch did not have a vet for quite a while so we decided to move to the Laindon branch due to reading the online reviews. My experiences have left my wife and I wondering why... The vet that we saw made us feel so uncomfortable, he was rude and totally focussed on costs rather than what was best for our dogs. When the vet realised we only wanted nails cut and anal glands on both dogs checked he rushed us through the consultation and was very abrupt and quite frankly rude. The most recent experience which was just a phone call to the receptionist to order a repeat prescription for my dogs' regular medication and I was told NO this is not possible and we would require another appointment and blood tests... This is completely unjustified and is just another ruse to get us to spend more money even though i checked the last time i was at the surgery in January and was told this is ok. I am registered disabled and cannot work so I have a limited budget and cannot afford the astronomical costs that the vet charges. I have researched online and it is at least double the cost. This just cannot be right and I urge others to do your research also. Our dogs mean the world to us and for the prices that they charge a little care and consideration wouldn't hurt!!!

Dr Antonis is an absolute gem as a vet. For the past 8 years he has been looking after our dog, cat and two hamsters. He has been absolutely brilliant as a vet but also as a human being, understanding the stress/fears of both our pets and ourselves. Moreover, prices are very reasonable. Very strongly recommend him and the practice.

Dr Antonis has been looking after our dog, cat and two hamsters. Excellent diagnosis, care, consultancy, surgery and after surgery treatment. Not only that, but they are much cheaper than any other vet we have worked with. Very highly recommended.

Our sausage dog had his neutering under the care of Dr Antoniou and his team. He had excellent care, all instructions before and after the procedure by the staff were written and explained clearly as well as the follow up appointments and now he has a speedy recovery! A big thank you to the team!

Overall i was very disappointed with my experience, the receptionist wasn't particularly friendly, and Valeriu Ionascu was not compassionate at all, displayed fear towards our dog Roxie, and was quick to suggest a muzzle rather than spending a few minutes to get to know her.
