Receptionist and Nurses were very friendly and helpful, all lovely - five stars. The reception area is also clean and pleasant.
Vet was a nice friendly person who genuinely seemed to like animals but unfortunately seemed totally out of their depth professionally. The floor of the surgery was filthy and the table had also clearly not been cleaned after the previous patient. They didn't inspire any trust or confidence in their abilities or training and some of their actions were actually alarming. They didn't seem to know what they were doing at all and hurt our pet when taking temperature. Also poor communication - didn't ask relevant questions or explain anything clearly; barely spoke to us. Kept looking at their watch - just wanted to finish for the day. At the end of the visit we were all none the wiser as to what the problem was. The vet offered medication but the problem had not been diagnosed in any way so not sure what medication would have been for..? The vet seemed to lack even basic knowledge, which was worrying. Visit was a waste of time and money and our pet was hurt from the handling; luckily they made a full recovery the following day but honestly we would have been better off not bothering with the vet visit, which did more harm than good.

Some interaction with clients takes some time; no fault of the staff or client. However, lengthy involvement which some clients need for explanation of pet insurance or medical conditions could benefit from being dealt with away from the main reception desk. I experienced a thirty minute wait just in order to collect a prescription. There was only one member of staff available to serve customers in the waiting room. She had a lot of detail to explain to one client in particular; an almost empty reception area gradually became busier. Could a system allocating who is next to be served be created?

The vet who saw my cat was friendly and ready to listen to my cat's problem. He did a thorough examination and recommended a course of action to deal with her issue that I trusted. I felt his approach was honest and although potentially he could have ordered unnecessary tests he didn't - which I was grateful for as my finances are an issue. This fostered immediate trust in his diagnosis and recommended course of action meaning I will not hesitate and return to see him in particular as I have confidence that both my cat and I will be treated fairly if any further tests would be a necessity.

I visited late in the day with my sick rabbit. The vet checked him over but couldn’t help as they were about to close. He gave us advice and told us where to go to get further help. The vet was extremely helpful as was the lady on the reception
