Quick to register. Once registered it was very easy to book an appointment. The practice we visited is currently undertaking some building work so didn't look to appealing. Having said that the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were seen on time and the vet was very thorough. Our dog seems to be picking up so fingers crossed 🤞
So, yes, very pleased with medivet.

Sadly since Abdul retired things have changed a lot at Littleover. For 10+ years we have felt very well cared for. Since Medivet took over the most noticeable thing is that prices have soared . We now purchase our regular medication on line. We never felt the need to before. Even allowing for general price rises, as everything everywhere has gone up, not just Vets, prices for services are noticeably higher. A vet consultation is £15 more than it was and things that Abdul did as part of his check up, we are now charged extra for. The vets we see - usually someone different every time now - are lovely and are thorough. The staff of nurses and admin staff remain on the whole, friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. Appointments are difficult to obtain. We used to ring and get a non emergency appointment that day or in a few days. Not possible now. Nor is it possible to obtain regular medication if you are running out or going on holiday without seeing a vet. This is fine as long as one is available. It's becoming more like the NHS! We are organised regarding regular 3 month appointments but even this hasn't been possible the last twice. 'Ring back again when we know if there's a vet'. This really is unacceptable even allowing for teething difficulties when a practice is taken over. Sometimes I have rang 3 or 4 times. I used to give Littleover 5****+. It is lucky to get a 3 at the moment. I am being sadly generous.

The Reception staff are amazing.
Building work is going on and they are working around this with a smile.
Reception staff are very helpful..
Prices continue to go up however.
Locum vet lacked bedside manner! Didn't look as if she wanted to be there. I didn't need a long conversation but one smile and introducing herself would have helped! Perhaps she had only just been asked to cover?
