Abdul is an amazing vet and we have been with Abdul since he first started his practice before this corporate company took over. Abdul is, and has always been, compassionate, honest and has always put our pet’s health first before profits. All of the staff have always been brilliant, particularly Sabrina and Becky who are helpful, knowledgeable and care about our pets, and also us as pet owners. The reception staff are lovely and always try their best to fit your pet in for an appointment but they now have to constantly put up with complaints regarding the price increases which have escalated tremendously since Medivet has taken “control” of this lovely, once family led practice. Even flea and worming treatments not covered by Insurance have escalated. It will be interesting to see how many pet owners choose to stay with Medivet Littleover once Abdul retires, as he is the reason that I, and the pet owners I know, have been with this amazing and highly respected and trusted vet for the past 17 years. Medivet are not the Practice, just a faceless, Corporate Company detached from the reality of, and from the Pets that are registered with them.

Abdul is such a knowledgeable vet. Despite not enjoying the experience I know my dogs are very well looked after and I will be very sad to see him retire.

The care the Vets (Abdul and the team) gave our cat Challa was exceptional. We bought him in for an emergency appointment when he was sick and he came home a far happier cat! The picture was of him last night 😁

Once Abdul has left, I too will look for an independent vet. Been seeing Abdul since his Marshall&Till days.

Been going to Abdul for years with all my animals. Very caring vet the only vet I trust with my animals. Today I visited the vet with two of my dogs. As I was paying the bill I was informed that Abdul is retiring in August. I feel now I have to find an independent vet that Medivet hasn't brought out. Abdul you will be missed.

After seeing a recent spate of negative reviews I felt compelled to support this local business and let people know of my positive experience. It is easy and quick to book an appointment over the phone, rarely on hold for more than a few rings. Instructions are clear, on arrival wait in the car park and call reception to check in. Then the vet (Abdul) wll call you in when you are ready. As this is being written at the time of COVID-19 restrictions you are expected to wait in the car park as opposed to inside the reception area and Abdul will take you pet in and you can view externally from the window - to keep everyone safe. I have now taken my dog Teddy for 3 appointments and am very happy with the services and prices. Abdul is informative and shows his knowledge in his feedback and advice he gives you. A few people have mentioned Abdul can be direct and to the point. I would agree, although with the stress and busy appointments of COVID-19 I can appreciate the stress we are all under. While I don't really mind Abdul's directness at least for myself, I can see how some people may consider it otherwise. It may therefore be beneficial for Abdul to slowdown and spend 5 minutes briefly and slowly taking a pet owner through the appointment findings and answering any questions they have. Emphasis on slowly taking them through the debrief. I still however award 4 stars to Abdul and his team as personally for me it has been a very good service! Thank you from myself and Teddy!

Everyone I asked about vets for my pup recommended this vet. I can't quite understand him at times and have to get confirmation from reception staff. Had to go back and check on medications a couple times. It's quite small and usually busy. Prices are competitive with other vets. I'm sticking with them as it's early days. Visited today 30 May 2024 for booster jabs. Very good service

The vet himself wasn't a nice person but the women I came into contact with were all nice. Since my appointment I have spoken to other people who have used this vets, have said the vet himself is nice so I maybe caught him on a bad day. There was a dog which had been in a collision with a vehicle which held everyone's appointment behind, this is very understandable and if the owner of that dog reads this I do hope everything is now okay. This could've been why the vet himself had a bad day after that but I can only comment on my own experience.

* Although we’re happy to see these pets at the practice, we advise checking with us that the vet who can offer the service is available on the day of your preferred booking.
