Staff polite and thorough just was seen 45 minutes after my appointment time.

My first time at this practice and will not be going back,I took my dog yesterday as she has a huge lump in her stomach and weakness in her back legs I was left waiting for 45 minutes, when I was called in I explained to Abdul why I had brought her 5 minutes later he called me in and very rudely told me he should've seen my dog a year ago (open windows and doors I might add so everyone could hear)I explained that she had not been ill for a year he then spoke over me and said she has arthritis and nerve damage I explained the weakness had started when the lump had he dismissed the lump as old age and he basically hadn't examined it he only did so because I asked if it could be removed I was rudely ushered back out side while he looked and eventually did blood tests he prescribed painkillers which "may or may not work" in short the attitude more or less was shes an old dog I dont care...i got given her painkillers and told to pay over the phone wasnt even told how much it would be that day in short I have no confidence in Abdul at all and will take my girl elsewhere as I do not trust his diagnosis,nor do I appreciate being made to feel that I neglect my dog.disgusting *EDIT* I took her to another vets that week who diagnosed it as a mammary tumour!! She had surgery and a 1.2kg mass was removed and the weakness in her back legs was all but gone very glad I didn't take her back to see Abdul he's just in it for the money

The receptionist was so rude! I called to see if there were any vacancies for new pets and she very rudely spoke down to me. Awful manners.

Abdul is a fab vet. Very Black and White, doesn't mince his words but clearly cares about each and every animal he sees. The staff (nurses and receptionists) are always smiling, pleasant and helpful. After, moving from Colchester I went through 4 vets before I finally found Abdul. A vet is someone you need to trust. The whole experience is stress free. Definitely 5 stars from me and my 3 Border Collies 🤩

Asked to book appointment and the receptionist said they were very busy and said as I hadn't taken my dog for a while they might not see me. She said she would get back to me either way but never bothered.

I have been taking my cats to Abdel's for around 10 years. Personally I love the no nonsense, get on with it attitude. I trust him implicitly, and that he will provide the correct diagnosis and the most cost efficient medication. I rate him very highly as a vet. I appreciate not everyone else does, but there are plenty of vets to choose from if you don't. His appointments often run late, but that is because he has so many customer's who really value him.
