I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in Portugal 16 years ago and have been living in the UK for 10 years, initially working as a companion animal vet while finishing my PhD at Cardiff University. I joined the team at Medivet Llandaff North as a Partner in December 2020. Since arriving in the UK, I've worked in multiple roles as an emergency vet and have been a Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Director. I have a keen interest in emergency surgery, avian and wildlife medicine.

The door was locked on arrival and the person who answered the door didn't apologise nor seemed pleased to see me. Her attitude changed later but it was a very weird situation to be presented with as it was 9.30 and I arrived on time.

I saw a student get who was lovely kind to my pet showing them respect and kindness. Had good knowledge and I felt fully cared for.

We'll certainly be registering our other cats as its easy to get too, on-street parking isn't too bad (Lidl car park is available). All the staff were lovely, which was nice.

Excellent vet (believe he is a locum named Will) who really understood the anxiety issues of our lurcher Molly and completely put her at ease and also accommodated the other two members of her 'Pack' (Daisy & Lola) the were along for emotional support. A man who clearly works for the benefit of his canine patients. Many thanks

Libby was superb. Took the time with my cat. Did not feel rushed. Explained all options and did not pressure me into any additional treatments. Fortunately I’m insured so was happy to have a blood test. Libby phoned with the results of the test and explained the course of treatment clearly and again, not rushed on the phone.
