Nose-to-tail health check
We're excited to announce that we're now offering a new nose-to-tail health check, discounted up to 25%. This includes a coat examination, body conditioning check, mobility assessment plus a flea, tick, teeth and ear check. If required your pet can also receive a nail clip. At Premier Vets we pride ourselves on offering our clients genuine value and uncompromising compassionate care. Daily consults are run by the veterinary surgeon for everything from routine examinations to vaccinations, including micro-chipping. Our in house lab has hi-spec blood and urine analysis equipment and microscope for same day results. In our fully equipped operating theatre we have a hydraulic tilting operating table, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor and oesophageal stethoscope for safer anaesthetic monitoring.

Incredible service yesterday, fit us in last minute for an end of life appointment. We were looked after incredibly well and Lisa the vet was so compassionate, patient and informative sharing different treatment options for Tamagotchi the hamster. So much patience despite it being near closing time. Couldn't fault the service and if tipping was an option for vets, I would give one. Tamagotchi was treated appropriately and compassionately. The final gift of humane euthanasia was made possible because of this practice. Easily the best vet experience I've ever had the privilege of receiving in my lifetime of pet ownership. Would recommend to anyone. Although not experts in exotic pets, knowledgeable and suspected the same treatment options/was of the same opinion of the exotic vet I visited with my previous hamster. We are eternally grateful.

Called to make an enquiry and while waiting I kept getting the automated message saying that I could book an appointment online too and that they were sorry to keep me waiting. Although I was the only one in the queue I waited for 10 minutes. A woman finally picked up, blabbed something and hung up before I could even say “hello”. I think that says plenty about this place.

Lovely vets who genuinely care about your pet as much as you do. Took my cat to get microchipped and the veterinary nurse was amazing from start to finish. She was really upbeat and informative throughout the appointment.

5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ This week the team at Medivet Low Fell have been superb! They've taken care of my parent's dog after we found a tick on her. They genuinely care about the pets and ensuring they're happy and comfortable during appointments. Every staff member I spoke to were so friendly and informative - definitely put my mind at rest after they kindly and safely removed the tick. Unfortunately couple bad experiences here. When it was its previous name. Our dog needed an injection and the process in which it was done has created him to hate all vets and still to this day Then 2nd is our little rabbit didn’t have best experience and ended up having to be put to sleep by another out of hours vet’s as her issue was missed by this practice and if picked up we would more then likely of still had her now but what I hate the most is idea of her being in pain and so much discomfort to the run up to the end of her life.
