Used to be one of the best vet in the country now turned into one of the worst. It's sad that a good man like paddy invested so many years into building the reputation of this business for it to be torn apart in a matter of months. I've since went and registered with another much superior and much cheaper local vet. Only interested in money and you won't even get ear drops in this vet without bringing the dog in despite already having been seen and got them before, its solely for the purpose of charging you for the diagnosis Not the animal's benefit. Prices for the medication are extortionate even in comparison to other vets. Used this vet for years with all my dogs and my advice now would be to AVOID at all costs. I caught on pretty quick so they didn't extort much money out of me but hopefully this review can help some animal lover getting ripped off!

Disgusting service from this place has been taken over. 12 year old Alaskan Malamute been receiving a prescription from Patrick for the past 3 years for pain caused by arthritis. Which has always been paid for. Up in the thousands might I add over the years. Approx £70 every 3 weeks. Now they are refusing to provide the prescription unless they see the dog - understandable. But there is absolutely no chance on this earth we could get Luka into a car. He has arthritis!! To try and lift him into a car would be extremely painful and cause a lot of distress (especially since he hasnt had his medication from this place changed hands). Offered to pay hundereds for a home visit and they refused saying they don't offer this. What on earth are we expected to do? Condescending comments from reception and dissapointing from the vets themselves. Around 12 dogs in our extended family all of which will never be returning!

I have been with this vet for a long time, Gerry and Patrick were great vets, both sadly now retired. Refused an appointment to vaccinate new wee puppy, disgraceful, I can't see them being in business for to much longer, consideration for animal welfare should be what a vet is all about!!

They treat the animals very well. No complaints about that. . Disappointed with medicine policy. . Got prescription for my dog. . Usually get 2 week, but they gave me 1 month supply on last visit. . Dog passed away 5 days later. . No buyback of meds. . £ 270 !! I wasnt expecting the lot back, just wanted a return on unused full sheets of tablets

I have been going to Patrick for years with my dogs. Patrick is a very caring vet who has looked after my dogs and me (yes mummy is important too) he will do all he can. I have a dog with mobility issues that arises now and again. It takes care and dedication to get Lola back to health and Patrick gets there even giving injections on a Sunday morning for weeks. I would never bring my dog to any other vet. I have the most respect for Patrick who works hard to keep all our animal family healthy, pain free and when the end comes is most respectful of your animal and you and end of life is most dignified. Patrick I thank you for all you are doing and all animal lovers I would recommend Patrick and Jerry 100% you will not regret it and they are very mindful of what they charge. Thank you for everything, Michelle 😄

Used this service for over 20 years but wasnt informed my account had been stopped due to new policy by medivet. Patrick was an excellent vet and gentleman but sadly the last treatment I had was the end of a good service....I left in November due to attitude of a staff member.

Have travelled from Belfast and used this vet for around 15 years. We used both Gerry and Patrick and would never have gone anywhere else or trusted anyone else with our pups. Sadly, now Patrick retired and wouldn't rate the service at all. Sick pup couldn't be seen for over a week, then made to wait an hour after the time of appointment that was booked to be seen and the lady vet couldn't get us out quick enough. Prices up too. Very sad as we've had such good experiences with this vet for so long. Will be going elsewhere.
