We visited Medivet to get our 2nd lot of injections for our puppy Charlie. This was our first visit to Medivet and the receptionists welcomed us warmly. The vet was lovely and very thorough giving Charlie a puppy check then his injections. The waiting area was very clean with plenty of water available for the pets and the seats were comfortable. Air conditioning kept the pets and their owners nice and cool. Their prices are very competitive too.

I'm unsure of the vet's name – he's a young man who works in Merthyr and may also work in Mountain Ash, as I've seen him there too. He is the only vet I've ever felt completely comfortable seeing with my dog, who can be very difficult to handle.
For the first time in five years, he actually managed to examine my dog properly. Previous vets would often say they couldn't examine him before really trying. This vet was patient, calm, and made both me and my dog feel at ease.
Unfortunately, I've had several negative experiences with other vets, including being spoken to rudely, which left me feeling unsupported. I completely understand that my dog can be challenging, but I often felt that we weren't being treated with the understanding and professionalism we needed.
I'm incredibly grateful to this vet for taking the time to help us and for showing genuine care and patience. Because of the positive experience he gave us, I wouldn't want to see any other vet now. Thank you for making such a difference.

We took our other dog there for the same procedure roughly a year prior,and was really shocked that the price had risen by 100 pounds we will be looking for a new vet practice after this

We booked an appointment for 430pm but we're not seen until 515pm two people who came in after us were seen before us.
The vet for great and the service very good however there was mention of how much the bill would be until we were asked to pay £80 it would have been good to know the basic costs when we booked..

My dog poppy was dealt with straight away and they sorted her ears for me giving them a good clean and steroids to help with the inflammation which she will be on for good now to help prevent re occurrence.
