Hi, I’m Safia! I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) from South London with a lifelong passion for animal care. My favourite animal is the tiger, and I recently adopted two rescue kittens. Outside of work, I love cooking, visiting museums, and enjoying a good cheese board — though you won’t catch me with black coffee or animal-tested products!

I was born and raised in Italy where I studied and work as Psychologist. At some point I changed and I graduated as Pastry Chef and as Pastry Chef I moved in this country almost eight years ago. Since there I started to work as manager in Hospitality. I love reptiles and bunnies, I had a turtle, Sabino, and a bunny, Sciu. I love travel, visiting museums and exhibitions, going to theatres to watch musicals, and reading.

The vet seemed nervous of my dog. He’s a terrier who can sense nervous and he played that.

I have been very happy with New Cross Medivet until recently. I will see how the upcoming months go but considering changing practice due to lack of communication and not proper follow up on important matters. Update: Sadly things haven’t improved. After insisting, I had an extensive call with a vet who mentioned there is high rotation of staff and if you want proper follow up this isn’t your practice (quite a mindblowing statement as any practice should have proper follow up when you pay for tests and consultations). After explaining everything all over again, she was supposed to request medication for me to pick up. I hadn’t received any update and messaged today. To my surprise no one requested any medication. I am at my wits ends. Having to go after and beg for a proper service when we pay so much is draining my soul. I don’t have the time and energy to worry if people are doing their job properly. I just can’t trust my pets will receive the best care anymore and sadly will be changing practice soon.

Medivet New Cross has been amazing to us as new pet owners. I’ve felt supported in my lack of knowledge with a new kitten and staff are very kind and friendly. Thank you so much, it’s very reassuring how professional you are!

Asked to bring in a urine sample for my dog on a workday - you are not open outside working hours on weekdays(adding the commute to the working day) and don't have a letterbox where I could get the sample in our early-morning walk (about 6am) and drop in before you open for the day, which would be helpful.
