A little About Me… Hi, I’m David! I enjoy writing and performing spoken word, and when I get the chance, I unwind with some art. Creativity keeps me inspired and balanced. Born and Raised: I grew up in the beautiful Limpopo province of South Africa and later moved to the Jacaranda City (Pretoria) for high school and university. Background/Career: I qualified as a vet in 2016 and have worked with large animals, wildlife, and aquaculture. Since moving to the UK, I’ve been focused on small animals and loving the journey. Favourite Animal: Vultures—they may not be the cutest, but they’re vital to the ecosystem. Pets: None at the moment, but one day soon! Interests/Likes: I enjoy music, good food, traveling, and anything that sparks creativity or great conversation.

Hi, I’m Safia! I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) from South London with a lifelong passion for animal care. My favourite animal is the tiger, and I recently adopted two rescue kittens. Outside of work, I love cooking, visiting museums, and enjoying a good cheese board — though you won’t catch me with black coffee or animal-tested products!

Born and Raised: Johannesburg, South Africa. Background/Career: I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in January 2016. The reception staff ensured my elderly cat got an appointment quickly. The vet, Erica Gosnell gave me the time to talk through my concerns and gave me the advice I needed. Really happy with the care my cat received.

The vet was nice but the appointment was delayed 15 minutes we arrived early so we were waiting for some time , when we finally got called and our pet got her checkup they tried to charge use alot more than what was actually supposed to be payed. At medivet them themselves have posted that the first appointment is free for pets under 1 year our pet met this criteria but when we told them they claimed it's false , the vet let us of saying it wasn't true , but it is , you can search online and look on the actual website . There was lot of miscommunication between the staff and the customers , would not attend again.

The service received by the receptionist with the Italian accent was very very poor. She failed to book my appointment as requested for a 6 month health check and consultation. She had trouble understanding me and failed to give me the correct information which I eventually obtained from another receptionist. The quality of her service was very poor. She slammed the phone down on 2 occasions when ending my calls. I asked her to confirm why there was a difference in the charges I paid for in this appointment and the last. She struggled and was unable give a clear explanation. Overall she was quite rude in tone and attitude. I called back today to ask for my pets medical records. And noticed that the same receptionist had written a consultation in the records that wasn’t accurate true. Hopefully I dont receive service like that from her or anyone ever again. Additionally - I used the services of this vet for more than 20 years when it used to be called John Hankinson. The quality of service there isn’t the best. The staff turn over seems to be quite high and cost for their services seem to be increasing and not matching the customer experience and service.

The quality of service from the receptionists are up not consistent. The staff turnover seems to be quite high. The service I received recently from a lady with an Italian accent wasn’t the best. On two occasions she abruptly slammed the phone down at the end of my call and spoke to me with attitude that affected the quality of the service she was trying to give. I did not feel that my concerns , questions and requests were heard or received by this particular receptionist. She also failed to explain a process or procedure correctly in its entirety.

They don't seem to care about their clients. Got a large quote from them to perform some extractions for our cat. Supposedly needs to be done asap. We had questions. Called 3 times on 3 different days asking to speak to a vet or have one call us. No one phoned. Have found a different vet.

The vet dealt very well with my cat as he was in so much pain - I had to hold the cat whilst the vet treated him and was very scared but he quickly got over that. The vet spotted what was wrong with him very quickly as he has the same problem in August 2025 - hopefully I will be able to spot some warning signs should this happen again.

Absurdly expensive - £55 to have my perfectly well cat checked over in order to obtain a repeat prescription for flea and worm medication and then a further £39 to obtain a piece of paper with the prescription on. This is £94 per year before I have even bought the medication!
