Receptionist was incredibly rude on the phone following the appointment. My husband took the dog and on his return I wanted to clarify something to do with medication that was prescribed. After making an incredibly rude comment and me asking her to repeat herself she said that I was being rude and hung up. If being asked to explain your comment is being rude she needs to be taught how to deal with people. I feel it was more that she knew she was in the wrong and was deflecting. I have only just moved from one Medivet practice that I had been at for 30+ years to this one 2/12 ago and it has been the 2nd time I have had an issue.

Overall the general service I find good, two days running and two different felines needing looking over. My two appointments were made the same afternoon and were seen within hours. My only grumble is medivet afaik being a VCT is they are highly expensive. My little girl was running a temperature and infection likely of the anal gland area and a 15 -20 min visit was nearly £170. Likewise my rehomed senior needs a dental and looks like she has FORL on one of canines and cleaning quoted over £1500 for her treatment. As a senior with past history one can't insure her as most of her history will exclude her .

I've been with this vet practise for a year now and they are always very nice and helpful. I have a nervous German Shepherd and they accomodate his need to be ignored at the beginning of the appointment, and are always very patient and understanding when he tries to hide in my arm or explore the room while I talk to the vet or nurse.
