Been with this practice for many many years. It’s small so all the staff know us and our pets well. Like many other places they are struggling to recruit another vet but despite being super busy they do their utmost to accommodate our needs. I’ve witnessed first hand clients getting angry with the staff and any complaints are handled in a professional manner. Would definitely recommend

Made a complaint as service was rude and not acceptable and was told no other complaints and the first thing I see on here is another complaint. May partner felt forced into buying a treatment and the care was lacking over all. We will be using another vet. Called the reception who were also rude. Stating my partner was a fully grown adult and didn’t have to buy it. Sadly the previous vet has left who was wonderful. Avoid these at all cost, they didn’t even offer to have someone call me to discuss the complaint. It’s a shame really, I very much liked the Vet before, but this Vet made my partner feel very uncomfortable, the fact they were not even concerned about the complaint tells volumes. No offer of discussion or even to examine the concerns. I feel they know they have a problem as it didn’t sound like a surprise to them on the phone. As professional people paying for a service I would expect a lot more.

Absolute disgrace. Used this practice for all of my pets needs for many, many, years. Moved out of the area but wanted to remain here. Therefore, took a taxi 10 miles from home to see the vet for flee and worming treatment. When I was about to pay for my pets treatment the receptionist said they were not sure whether there was an outstanding balance or not. I was unaware of any balance that could have been owed so I queried it. The receptionist stated that the head nurse needs to look into it but could not at that time as was busy. I was told that I must pay this now, if it was not owed then I would receive a refund, the head nurse refused to give me the treatment for my pet. I have never known such appauling customer service; and to be told I must pay a balance they or I had no idea if or why I owed it. I am aware that such issues and or errors do occur however as a CEO of a small business this is not the way to treat loyal customers. Holding me over a barral for the sake of £16 pound worming and flee treatment. It just goes to show how much they value their customers loyalty.

Such amazing receptionists and animal doctors. My cat had a severe allergic reaction and they helped book an appointment within the hour. If it wasn’t for them my cat would’ve gone into anaphylactic shock. Our little boy is now better and his fur is growing back. Highly recommend this veterinary practice and also the pet plans which cover so many things such as fleas and deworming and vaccines. (Never buy stuff online or outside of vets for fleaing or deworming) We have many cats as we are pet lovers and will continue coming here ❤️❤️

Incredible ladies on reception-- friendly, personable and professional. Vet was knowledge, physically gentle with, and made a real effort to fuss over our furry babies. Staff are brilliant and really put an immense amount of effort into knowing not only the dogs but also the family, and their needs as a whole. I'm really impressed with Gillian, Phoebe and Sarah-- they really do make all the difference! Only downside is that the parking is rubbish as it's on the street, and it's a packed one way road.

Welcoming staff on the reception. Vet was very caring with my cat and took time to put her at ease. Lovely experience and will definitely be returning to Medivet Oadby 😊
