The staff at Medivet Stoke Newington were incredibly friendly, thorough and caring from start to finish! I managed to get my dog registered and an appointment on the same day. Everything was made so clear from the beginning and they took me seriously. When offering medication everything was explained and offered as an option - unlike previous vets who just send you home with loads of meds without explanation. The vet took notice and interest in one of my dogs symptoms that had previously been passed off as nothing to worry about, which turned out to be very serious, and my dog has gotten all the correct care incredibly quickly and easily. My dog, Peanut, has bad separation anxiety but the staff took such good care of her, she didn’t fret too much when having to be left and they were extremely gentle and caring. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough and even though Peanuts treatment is still ongoing I know she couldn’t be in better hands.

Rang and begged for an appointment for my guide dog and was rudely told there were no appointments and to ring a different medivets! Rang Dalston who were much better and less rude!

This vet is absolute shambles. Went in few months ago and asked whether I could get my dogs travelling certificate and I asked whether he has all vaccinations and they told me and assured me he did, we came back today for it to be signed being sure he has all his vaccinations and the same vet told me he doesn’t have the rabies vaccination needed to travel so we were confused as she told us he had it done the last time we visited. She didn’t even apologise for her mistake and was really rude. They look like a bunch of unqualified workers who don’t know how to do their job properly and are very rude towards people and have no manners. I advise you to avoid medivet if you want to avoid problems with your pets.
