This vet is brilliant. Honest even when it’s hard to hear. So caring and compassionate for our cat that sadly passed away. Sent us a card, organised his ashes and everything so beautifully. Did all she could for him. With our new kittens the vet has been so loving and attentive. So knowledgable and gives the best advice. Oscar loves her 🤣 Receptionist is also so lovely and friendly. Again compassionate of our loss and has an excellent phone manner. Professional and personable. Thank you for all you have done

Great from first time speaking with them for advice, to booking. Very welcoming when we arrived. The young lady vet we had was welcoming friendly and so great with talking us through the whole process. Was amazing with our cat and took my 1 million questions in her stride never making me feel like I was being a pain or an idiot. So glad we have signed up with them for our cat .

Replacing my old review with a new one as a further visit has altered my overall opinion. The nursing staff are incredible and super kind. My dog had a good surgery and I felt he was cared for and the team were understanding he was nervous and let me bring him in a bit later than when they first asked. Unfortunately I’ve since had an appointment where the vet I spoke to was quite rude and didn’t show understanding when it came to my younger dogs behaviour. I know he likes to bark and isn’t perfect, but I left feeling shamed because of the behaviour and was scared to say anything to my dog without being judged by the vet.

I can highly recommend Medivet Wickford! Our Bulldog had issue's with her eyes, and our previous vet failed to diagnose the issue. After taking her to Medivet Wickford, Susanne was fantastic! Diagnosed with 10 minutes, and carried out the operation a few weeks later. The after care was fantastic too, it's great to know your pet is in safe hands!

Medivets is the best vets I’ve taken my pets to the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful and always so kind and supportive They always explain everything to me about the animals problems and the medication they are given And their monthly payment plan saved me loads of money I wouldn’t go anywhere else

If you have chickens, I cannot recommend Medivet Wickford enough. Susanne is an absolutely fantastic vet and a lovely person. It’s very difficult to find a vet who treats chickens and even harder to find one who genuinely cares. Susanne was thorough, empathetic and kind. She was extremely knowledgeable, explained things very clearly, supported me through learning how to give my hen medication, explained her condition and all the options. If I had found Susi sooner I have no doubt my hen would have made it. Sadly it was too late for my hen (EYP that I didn’t catch early enough) but it brought me so much peace (after previously seeing multiple other vets for my other hens) having the certainty that Susi provided the best possible care. If you have chickens, especially ex-commercial hens I absolutely recommend Susi at Medivet Wickford.
