I am absolutely appalled by the shockingly unprofessional and heartless behavior at Medivet Acton Branch. My experience yesterday was nothing short of a nightmare. My kitten, just 4 months old and having breathing issues, was denied care because we were one minute late. The receptionist and nurse were extremely rude and displayed a complete lack of compassion. They, along with the vet, spent half an hour lecturing us about their policy instead of examining my kitten. Their priorities are deeply misplaced. Receptionist tried to justify their actions by comparing it to be late a hairdresser appointment, failing to recognize the critical difference between a trivial appointment and an animal's life. This comparison was not only inappropriate but also deeply offensive. When I suggested that they could have used the time spent lecturing us to actually help my kitten, they canceled my registration on the spot. This clinic clearly has no regard for the wellbeing of animals, and their behavior is entirely unprofessional. I have already submitted a formal complaint and am waiting for a response. I will not rest until this matter is addressed and their policy and attitude towards animals are changed. No other pet should have to go through such an ordeal. Avoid Medivet Acton Branch at all costs if you care about your pet's life and wellbeing.

Extremely rude, especially the receptionist and nurse. They don't have a heart for animals; the wellbeing of pets is not their concern. There is no professionalism in their behaviour. Avoid Medivet Acton Branch at all costs. My cat had a breathing issue, and they refused to see him because we were one minute late. The vet, nurse, and receptionist spent half an hour explaining that we were literally one minute late for the appointment. They could have used this time to examine my kitten. The vet didn't even ask about my cat's condition or look at him. They tried to explain that if they were late for a hairdresser appointment, the hairdresser would not see them. I am not sure if they understand that an animal's life and wellbeing are not the same as a hairdresser appointment. I will not give up and will take this case further until they change their policy and attitude, prioritizing animal life and wellbeing. I don't want any other pets to experience the same incident. When I suggested they could have used that time to see my cat and pointed out their lack of concern for animal wellbeing, they cancelled my registration. I've written a formal complaint and am waiting for their reply.

The receptionist is gold and the nurse showed my pets care beyond their job. Acton Medivet I recommend to any person who really treasures their pet.

My small, 4-month-old kitten was having breathing issue, and despite arriving only one minute late for our appointment, the receptionist and two veterinarians spent half an hour berating me about their punctuality policy instead of providing the urgent care my kitten desperately needed. Their behavior was beyond unprofessional and shockingly rude. They even had the audacity to compare the situation to being late for a hairdresser's appointment, which is both reprehensible and shows a total lack of empathy and understanding of the gravity of the situation. This clinic clearly has no ethical standards and does not prioritize the welfare of animals. I have already submitted a formal complaint and am currently awaiting a response. If no serious consequences are taken against the unprofessional and rude receptionist and the two veterinarians involved in this incident, I will escalate this matter to higher authorities. I will ensure that the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), and local Trading Standards are informed about the lack of ethical conduct at this clinic. The worst vet I’ve ever been. They don’t care about animals. If you came to them with a cat covered in blood they would tell you to go somewhere else because you didn't make an appointment.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made me and my puppy feel really welcome, I can't fault them!

Excellent visit for vaccinations. Loveliest vet we have been to by far, wonderful professional team. He was enjoying the attention so much he didn't even notice the injection 🐶❤️
