Meet our Partner, Tamas Teglassy

I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2016 and moved the UK just a few months later. I spent several years working across numerous clinics of all sizes and disciplines before I decided to join Medivet Ashford Middlesex. I have a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Outside of work, I enjoy long walks and hikes with my partner and our three dogs as well as kitesurfing, triathlons, and motorbike riding.

Ongoing refurbishment

Our refurbishment is now complete and we’re delighted to welcome you and your pets back!

We’ve updated the clinic and added a brand-new consultation room to make your visits even more comfortable.

We’re also developing some new services to offer even more personalised care for your pets. We’ll be sharing more details with you soon!

Since earning my degree from the University of Liverpool in 2014, I have embarked on a fulfilling career as a first opinion vet, where I appreciate the diverse medical cases that come my way. Beyond veterinary practice, I find joy in dedicating quality time to my ever-curious dog Einstein and my rescue cat Gilby. In my spare time, I extend my dedication to animal welfare by providing guidance for animals in media.

I have been working as a veterinary assistance since 2012 alongside completing a degree in animal behaviour and welfare, which I completed in 2014. In March 2015, I began working at Medivet and I later chose to pursue becoming a veterinary nurse, qualifying in July 2021. I have grown up surrounded by animals and enjoy horse riding and countryside walks.

I grew up in West London and started helping at a vet's when I was 14 at weekends then went on to do my training at 17. I carried on working in London for 10 years, then joined a veterinary hospital in Turin Italy. I stayed in Italy for 17 years and came back to the UK to become a care worker. I'm now back doing the job I love. I still do my care work and in between jobs I love walking Johnny, looking after my garden and birds. I love laughing, listening to funky music and am also quite partial to a gin and tonic.

I joined the Medivet team in 2022 as a Patient Care Assistant and started my role at Ashford at the end of 2023. I have recently started my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, which I am really enjoying! When I am not working I spend as many hours as possible with my English Bull Terrier Ralph and my herd of rescue horses and ponies.

I've worked in schools and childcare for the last 20 years and always had horses whilst working, riding in Windsor Great park. I then went onto working at the yard where I kept them and was in charge of 60 horses and ponies. I now just have 2 German shepherds which I love walking. My favorite part of my job at Medivet Ashford is cuddling all of the gorgeous puppies we see!

I've worked at the practice since 2011. I enjoy my role meeting the clients and their animals and the challenges that each day brings. Before working here and having a family I worked as personal assistant and office manager. Outside of work I'm a busy mum of two and have a Hermann’s tortoise named Toby who is just over a year old.

I have been with this surgery for more than 20 years previously Redleaves & really happy & was always sent reminders for vaccinations by text & mail.Last week while I was paying the bill for 5th month of Lubrella I was told my dogs vaccination was overdue by 4 months & I was told to start vaccination from beginning & needed to return twice more.this has never happened before in 20 years& should have been picked up each time I visited in last 5 months.i was told i should keep track myself but why when I have always been contacted?
I am very unhappy my dog is 11 in April & has been open to illness without vaccination
