Since earning my degree from the University of Liverpool in 2014, I have embarked on a fulfilling career as a first opinion vet, where I appreciate the diverse medical cases that come my way. Beyond veterinary practice, I find joy in dedicating quality time to my ever-curious dog Einstein and my rescue cat Gilby. In my spare time, I extend my dedication to animal welfare by providing guidance for animals in media.

I have been working as a veterinary assistance since 2012 alongside completing a degree in animal behaviour and welfare, which I completed in 2014. In March 2015, I began working at Medivet and I later chose to pursue becoming a veterinary nurse, qualifying in July 2021. I have grown up surrounded by animals and enjoy horse riding and countryside walks.

I grew up in West London and started helping at a vet's when I was 14 at weekends then went on to do my training at 17. I carried on working in London for 10 years, then joined a veterinary hospital in Turin Italy. I stayed in Italy for 17 years and came back to the UK to become a care worker. I'm now back doing the job I love. I still do my care work and in between jobs I love walking Johnny, looking after my garden and birds. I love laughing, listening to funky music and am also quite partial to a gin and tonic.

I've worked in schools and childcare for the last 20 years and always had horses whilst working, riding in Windsor Great park. I then went onto working at the yard where I kept them and was in charge of 60 horses and ponies. I now just have 2 German shepherds which I love walking. My favorite part of my job at Medivet Ashford is cuddling all of the gorgeous puppies we see!

I've worked at the practice since 2011. I enjoy my role meeting the clients and their animals and the challenges that each day brings. Before working here and having a family I worked as personal assistant and office manager. Outside of work I'm a busy mum of two and have a Hermann’s tortoise named Toby who is just over a year old.

I joined Medivet Ashford in February 2022. I have spent most of my working career in the airline industry; I left in 2017 and after some time out, I worked as a receptionist for BP in Sunbury. I own a rather energetic Cockapoo called Charlie and spend a lot of time walking with him. My other favourite pastimes are travelling, reading and socialising with friends and I definitely enjoy the odd glass of wine!

Our first kitten was poorly on the 3rd day of bringing her home, we were concerned so we searched and read many local vets. We decided to take our kitten to Readleaves Veterinarian Centre because of the many positive reviews. We are also adding to this positively of this place, all staff members are very attentive, caring and professional. The vet followed up with calls on a few occasions to check on how our kitten is getting on. We felt this was a very caring a personal touch to service provided by this place. We highly recommend this vet for all your pet needs!

The staff are amazing. I always feel like my boy is in great hands and being well looked after and loved. The team really know their stuff and are always more than happy to answer questions and they put my mind at rest multiple times after my dog had a surgery. I have even seen some of the reception staff around the area and they remember my dog and always say hello. Highly recommend!

The vet tried to bully me into killing my 1 year old cat. The only pleasant staff are the receptionist.

We have recently moved to Medivet after a disappointing experience with our previous vet. We have been overwhelmed with the kindness and professionalism from Medivet. Our dog is very nervous and we were supported from our very first phone call to ensure that we could get her examined with as little stress as possible. Everyone in the entire practice has been so kind, so detailed and we’re really grateful to have had such a positive experience. Thank you so much, we now have a much happier pooch again!

I would just like to take the time to thank Dani and Sally, and team for yesterday, not only having to deal with a hysterically owner (me), but for dealing with a very sensitive subject in such a beautiful manner, and also for being with my most beautiful boy in his last moments. For Dani being there right till the end. Also for Sally helping me with the whole situation and the lovely receptionists who put me through to the right people, with such understanding. I can't thank you enough and I can't tell you how hard yesterday was for me. But the care, diligence you all showed for myself, and love for Hunter, I am externally grateful. If ever I could recommend a vet Practice here it is 5* +++ . You and your pet/animal / beloved fur baby will be looked after here at Medivet Ashford Middlesex. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

We hadn’t met this particular vet at the practice before. Zak introduced himself, was very approachable and friendly. He was thorough with his checks and took his time with our dog who gets very anxious at the vets. Very positive experience for us all.
