I grew up in in rural Italy from a family of animal lovers. My mum is a vet too (she was inspired by reading James Herriot's veterinary novels as a young child) and my father is a pet groomer. Growing up with dogs, cats and horses sparked my real passion for veterinary medicine, which I was determined to pursue from a young age. Before graduation, I worked as a veterinary assistant in my family's practice; then, eager to expand my knowledge, I joined a referral centre in Italy close to Milan. Finally I decided to move into the UK, where most of the veterinary scientific research is done. I have a dedicated interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine. In October 2021 I joined Medivet as Lead Veterinary Surgeon in the Barnes White Hart Lane practice. My goal with every patient visit is to provide a knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy service, and to ensure that every pet gets the caring treatment (and treats where appropriate!) they deserve.

My name is Kerry Flynn. I have a strong interest in animal welfare and I spend a lot of my free time helping to run an animal rescue called Broken Halo Animal Rescue. My main role within the charity is taking care of the fosters that are elderly or have pre-existing health concerns. My main interest is end of life care, because I believe being in that position as animal it must be extremely scary and being able to offer them the home the always deserved is very important. I have been in the Veterinary industry for over 12 years. I am a voice for the voiceless and treat all animals regardless of size, species, breed or age exactly the same. My strength within my degree is intensive care nursing. My future goal would be to run my own animal hospice and take in the animals that need a helping hand.

I’ve been in the veterinary practice for 18 years and absolutely love my job, I can’t imagine myself doing anything else from a child I knew I wanted to help animal. I have 3 adorable boys who keep me very busy. And in my own time I also volunteer for a rescue helping save and rehoming animals.

My name is Ami Woodward and I have recently joined Medivet after graduating in September 2021. I have always known I wanted a career involving animals but I was unsure what path to take so I studied zoology for 3 years at university and my experience led me to make the decision to go down the medical pathway. I love doing lab analysis and hands on care with the animals and within the next couple of months I will be enrolled to be a student veterinary nurse which I am very excited about! I aim to be in this industry for long time and in the future when I become a registered veterinary nurse I would love to work abroad as a vet nurse.

Amazing experience in this clinique!You can tell straight away that they love animals. Beatrice was very warm and welcoming and they took care of my ferret. The doctor was super knowledgeable about my pet witch is very difficoult to find. Thank you very much guys for your professionality!

Absolutely love this vet and staff - they are friendly and caring towards my dog and cat and provide them with the best possible care and communicate with me throughout. Ruby loves it so much, she often goes in for a treat and some attention from the staff!

Excellent vet practice, the team are really friendly and helpful. Kerry Flynn does so much to save wildlife and rescue poorly stray animals as well and the vets do a lot for charity welfare work too, we would be lost without them!

Federico is a great vet, I really appreciate his knowledge and patience. The fees of the practice in general are extremely high though and it makes it harder every day to own and afford a pet.
