Medivet Cheshunt Animal Clinic

Paul Morton is one of the most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with in my life. During my pets consultation I had asked a question and he stood over me and started SHOUTING at me, before refusing to help us. I have never been treated this way by a business, much less a medical professional. After shouting at me, he then denied it ever happened, despite the receptionist hearing the entire interaction, and when I was shaking and crying from the whole interaction, instead of showing any concern he started laughing. When I tried to escalate the issue, I was told he is the senior vet in charge of this branch and there was nobody else who could help. That probably explains why he thinks he can behave this way and get away with it, and finds it funny. Ridiculous. Someone who behaves like this should not be dealing with customers without proper supervision. If this is how he treats people face-to-face after being asked 1 question, I don’t even want to imagine how he treats our pets when they’re not cooperating and we’re not there. I thought vets are supposed to feel safe, be patient and nurturing. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Medivet as a company was also particularly unhelpful with this. Their solution was simply to tell me to send an email and wait for a response, with no real effort to deal with the situation or help in the moment, considering I just got yelled at by a grown man in a professional environment that is supposed to be safe. Disgusting barbaric behaviour with zero professionalism. I could never trust them with my pets after this.

Lindsay and Alex the vets are so good with my dog. He was petrified of his previous vet but much more comfortable here. The nursing staff also make us feel very welcome.

Very helpful and professional

The vets managed to see our cat Bob on the day I rang. They took bloods samples and rang back later that day. Rang back the following day with results of urine sample and explained the next steps of treatment required. Costs thou were high for recommending being hospitalised for several days, we declined . Shall complete follow up review. All my cats have been registered at Medivat but costs have increased significantly since last visiting

A caring and compassionate team

I Sandra SMYTH (not Robert) visited Medivet with Woody this morning as I did last Friday with my other cat, Jessie, have just switched to Medivet as closer to where I live. I am very impressed with the staff there, including the vet, they were very friendly and welcoming. I feel I made the right decision, I like that Medivet is just round the corner from where I live Thank you Medivet Cheshunt

A fabulous veterinary practice full of caring people who care genuinely about the pets they treat. There is no hard sell and unnecessary costs and our cat is given first class care. I wish I had found them earlier when we had our last cat. A real find.
