Hey there! I`m Ana. I swapped the Transylvanian landscapes from Romania for the UK last year, and now I`m here, in Crosby, part of the coolest, most inclusive team. I am a proud mom of two black cats (that`s a whopping 18 lives and loads of luck). I am exited to meet all the fur babies and shower them with love and care.

I quaified from Liverpool Unnversity in 1996. I started in mixed vet practice and became a dedicated, small animal only vet in 1996. In 2001 I attained a post graduate diploma in companion animal behaviour from Southampton university. I have spent most of my career in charity medicine at PDSA (15 years). Returning to private practice in the last 3 years. Joining Medivet, Crosby in January 2023. It has been fantastic to return to the practice I first spent time in studying as a veterinary student. I really enjoy working in the community I live in and seeing clients and their pets enjoying themselves at the beach. I live with my 3 sons and our rescue XL Bully Muriel.

I have been in small animal practice for 25 years. During this time i have developed a keen interest in all aspects of theatre. I also love nurse consultants and all the interactions they bring, especially if it involves a staffie. At home we have our psychotic cat Toby, who keeps us on our toes!

I have worked in practice for 17 years and have loved every day of it. I have a cavalier king charles at home named poppy and a lizard called george. I really loved meeting our clients and seeing many of them grow from young pups to seniors and watching their furry families grow.

I left college getting my Level 3 Animal Managment qualification and now work at Medivet Crosby in the role of a Patient Care Assistant. Loving looking after animals all my life, having 5 dogs and 4 cats throught out my childhood, i knew i wanted to come into the animal industry. Working here has made me realize how much i enjoy working with animals (big and small) and having my amazing team around me definetly helps! Outside of work life, i enjoy travelling, watching true crime documentaries and spending time with family and friends.

Marie is an excellent vet, who we’ve met many times before. This was a very difficult appointment for us as we were discussing our dog’s quality of life as she’s 15. Marie was patient, gave us her full attention and didn’t rush us which was really appreciated.
The receptionist was lovely, and very kind.

The only feedback I have was I sympathise with your on duty vets. On Saturday 6/6/26 one of your veterinary surgeons was inundated with patients and seemed to be the only vet on duty that morning. All morning he lacked adequate support, whether this was due to sickness in your team, it did not feel right he had so many animals to care for alone that morning. No other vets were on duty and it felt like he was rushing from station to station to care for each animal. This was the case for almost 1hour30mins, when I arrived at 09:30 twenty minutes early until when I left at 11:15am. Considering my dog only need drops and prescription of tablets I’ve never know the practice to be like this and I felt sorry for the staff on duty who had little support. Considering the consultation fees are so high, I’d expect better service next time otherwise I shall move my dog to another practice.

My cats ate well looked after here. Very thorough examination of both cats, one of which behaved very badly. He was soon sorted out by Marie and no problem!! Also, thanks to the nursing staff. I did not get our young ladys name , but she was lovely.
Good experience from reception onwards.
I cannot tecommend the practice enough.

Marie (Crosby branch) and the team have not give up on getting to the bottom of Polly’s illness. They have been thorough, kind, caring and compassionate at every stage…..Polly would not be with us now if it hadn’t been for their caring nature and professionalism. Cannot thank Crosby and Alder branches enough.

Took my five year old cavapoo the vets for her 6 month check up. The nurse who seen to her was very professional and gave good information about her health. She was throghly checked over and given the time she needed and I was able to discuss any health concerns I had. The vets are always helpful when I call and send me messages when I need to get the dog checked and when she needs her tablets. Would highly recommend this service to other pet owners.
Thank you

The care provided to my dog was first class. She was terrified but was quickly put at ease and treated with the utmost respect. The only negative I’d say is the cost but I suppose it’s the same everywhere and our pets are worth it.
