I graduated from Kyungpook National University in South Korea in 2005. During my final years of study, I completed an externship programme in Equine Dentistry and Equine Reproduction in Texas A&M University in the USA. I achieved a Master’s degree in Control of Infectious Diseases in Animals at the Royal Veterinary College in 2006. I passed the Statutory Membership Examination and became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2007. I joined Medivet in 2007 and became a Partner at Medivet Hempstead Risedale Rd in 2009. I participated in various surgical training courses and workshops over the years and I obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2014. My passion lies in Small Animal Surgery, while continuously learning and updating skills and also helping the new graduates by sharing my experience and helping them to train in real life settings. I have rescued many cats in need through my workplace over the years, currently I live with four cats. I am truly grateful that I can practise care and love for all my patients, their families and community through my vocation. I thoroughly enjoy working with my wonderful colleagues and learning from them. I cherish every single moment with my patients and their human companions.

I joined Medivet in 2013 having graduated from the Royal Veterinary College. I started working at Medivet Hemel Hempstead Risedale Rd in 2014 and soon afterwards became a Partner. I have a keen interest in Dermatology and Dentistry. I have a menagerie of animals at home including our two wonderful cats, Thomas and Layla who both came into Risedale as strays. I enjoy working at Risedale with our exceptional team but I am also very thankful to be looking after all the amazing animals which come through our door.

I completed a BSc (Hons) degree in animal management and welfare in 2013. In 2017 I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse. I was Deputy Head Nurse at Medivet Hendon, but moved to Medivet Risedale to be closer to home. I became Head Nurse at Medivet Risedale in 2023. I hold a certificate in emergency and critical care and enjoy all aspects of the veterinary nurse role. I have a Schnazuer who I rescued while working at Hendon.

I’ve been training with Medivet since July 2023. I’m enjoying my journey at Medivet Risedale as we get a variety of cases and there are always lots of fur babies to cuddle. At home I have three cats called Bella, Jessie and Herbie, Herbie being a rescue from Medivet.

Practice Manager & Veterinary Nurse

In November 2024 I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse. I enjoy all aspects of nursing and patient care. I have since taken on the role of Practice Manager at Medivet Hemel Hempstead Risedal Rd in June 2025, I am excited to continue to support our patients and teams. I have a rescue dog Frank, he’s a very happy sweet boy!

I’ve worked in sales for years, but wanted a change and love working with animals. At home I have a lurcher called Rusty.
