We have two vets as we live in two different cities for work. Our cat has already been to the Marches vet but when we came to book them they had no records of our cat even though he had been seen, treated and issued medicine from the vet. Ok fine. New records. My husband then went to drop the urine sample that needed to be sent to the lab for testing. I had spoken to the vets three times regarding a full urinary test. My husband explained to the nurse and receptionist when he dropped off the sample we are trying to determine what the crystals are before heading down the surgery route but it is very important because if our male cat gets blocked it can be fatal. My husband sent our cats record/notes from the other vet to the nurses personal email address which states on it "full urinalysis required". Call on for an update, no results yet and cats details still not on the system. I resent the cats records/notes to them. Call on Wednesday results are still pending. Cat is supposed to go to our other vet today (Wednesday) but without results visit is postponed to Friday unless we notice a change with cat. Finally I get a call from our other vet saying they've had the results from Marches Vet - but its the WRONG results. Phone Marches, asking why they have ordered the wrong test and what is going on - receptionist says she's just the receptionist and cant help (although the receptionists had been very quick to discuss matter previously) will get the vet to call. The vet calls and asks how he can help - so hasn't even bothered to read the notes on our cat or know why he is calling. When asked why the wrong results where ordered, I am just told that there must have been a miscommunication somewhere. Right. He then proceeds to tell me how I am doing the wrong thing and that I don't need a urine sample and should just do the surgery and then reads out my cats notes to me. Very rudely arguing with me and then starts trying to educate me on the subject (one I am already well versed with). Quite simply I have never had such a disorganised, rude experience with a veterinary practice. As I told the vet on the phone, their main aim is to look after our most loved pets and help us keep them well. I am so incredibly pleased that I have my other vet as they are nothing but kind and helpful. Marches vet has not been able to keep records or even order the right tests. Even when it is glaringly obvious that they are in the wrong, it was a fight. A simple, apology and a call to the lab would have been the right thing to do to try and rectify the situation quickly to help the animal be in less pain and avoid potential death. Avoid this vet if you can.

Terrible service, the receptionist is like crazy and has no answer to any question. I found a small stray kitten and they refused to examine him because I found him on a strawberry farm where I work, which is full of stray cats that no one wants. They told me that I have to get permission from the owner of the farm, who is a big businessman in 5 more farms and whom I don't even know personally. He doesn't care about cats. I explained this to them but they looked at me like I stole it. Unfortunately the kitten died after 2 days. These are doctors who should help animals, not arrogant discriminators.

My kitten had to be transferred to Leominster from Ludlow for her spay surgery due to unforeseen emergencies ciming into Ludlow. A nurse picked her her up, took her to Leominster and took excellent care of her throughout. The staff (especially this one particularly nurse) were lovely, informative and very caring. Five stars!

I had to have my last pet put to sleep, the young lady vet was an angel, she was so easy to talk to,and assured me that what we were both agreed on was the right thing.

I joined this practice 18 months ago, they looked after my 17 yr old dog with care and compassion until her end. They now look after my cat and puppy. Everyone from reception, nurses and vets have given excellent service, it feels like a large ‘family’ thank you

The vet & nurses are lovely but the one receptionist is rude. I have taken my 1 cat 3 times in the space of 3 months for a “ flea check up “ to only be told the following month that my cat has to go back in as she hasn’t had it? I don’t understand why it isn’t being updated on your systems but it’s becoming a pain to keep bringing my cat down.

My new addition, a black labrador puppy was being sick and went completely off her food. I rang for an appointment which was organised. The vet, Nick, checked my dog and gave her an injection to help her. Today, she is now her bouncy self ,thank goodness .

The Marches Vets is the Best Vets in Herefordshire. I have two JRT dogs . I Transferred over to these vets as they were my only hope as to saving my dog. I found out that they had very good reviews, but also that they had many specialty’s, one being, They Specialise in Orthopaedic surgery, my dog had orthopaedic surgery elsewhere which sadly had got badly infected and was making him ill, and lame. Mr Nick Fisher and his Team took us on and with there knowledge and expertise, they saved my little dogs life. The Marches Vets has Good size carpark,It has disabled Access into practice, Excellent selection of foods, bedding,Toys, Treats, leads etc, and reasonable prices, and Extremely Clean. The Receptionists are lovely, very helpful and good with advice. The Vets are Caring, Good listeners, very Knowledgeable and Nothing is too much trouble. They have a good seating area in reception, with plenty of space. I would highly recommend bringing your pets here, they are very experienced in most if all animal care.
