Medivet Ludlow

My GSD had D & V, I was very concerned so called the vet. And I was offered an appointment at once.i extremely impressed with the staff and their kindness. The vet was also extremely kind and very helpful. My dog is rather nervous but the vet was so very patient and kind . He also put my mind at rest too. The treatment and advice was very successful and my dog recovered quickly. Thank you all .. and my GSD Elsa also sends her thanks

Excellent vets and reasonable charges. All the vets I have met have been excellent I only joined Medivet Ludlow practice the end of 2025, after five years of searching I found my favorite vet. Kelly, she CARES about my dogs and others. She has five of her own, I trust her with all my dogs, 13 at the moment. ! Customer service is excellent too. Well done Maddie and the team. I highly recommend you take your pets to Medivet Ludlow. I have worked with mainly dogs in the Ludlow area for 55yrs. I was with another vets for 54yrs. I removed my custom from them last year. Sadly they have deteriorated and got very expensive when the practice was sold to 3 partners. In fact nearly doubled in some cases such as neutering. Vaccinations were high too. Considering vaccines can be bought in the USA for a few pounds, less than £10 I had no confidence in the vets there after my favorite for many years retired, and customer service in Ludlow was poor at times. I am a dog rescue. Near Ludlow.

After 54 years with the same veterinary practice,in Ludlow, I sacked them for not supporting me with a cruelty case. I am Basset Hound Rescue UK. I find the vets I see at the Medivet practice are very caring and thorough. The reception staff are excellent. In fact much better than the practice I stayed with so long. My only concern is out of hours !!! I would have to go too Shrewsbury ! Lyn Bailey

EXCELLENT CARING VETS !
After searching for 5 years I found my favorite vet again. A person I trust with all my dogs. 13 at the moment. What a relief I found you Kelly.
Customer service is also first class, well done Maddy.
My only concern is they don't open on Saturdays. I recently had an emergency, my Basset Hound had acute pancreatitis, he was in a lot of pain. I had to take him to another Vets. Nothing else I could do. He was in a lot of pain. That practice is only used if I have no option !
A third practice in Ludlow I sacked after being with them for 54 years ! That must tell you something

I brought my very reactive dog, Barney, in for a haircut on Friday 27th Feb. From start to finish dealing with Lisa was fantastic. I was really anxious as he needed a full sedation, but she was totally in control and was so aware of a reactive dogs needs. I can't thank her and the team enough, they did an amazing job and looked after my precious boy as their own. He came out looking truly remarkable, given how matted he was. I will certainly use Medivet again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone with a reactive dog.

The lady vet i saw she was very nice .very understanding .realy injoyed talking to my dog .and he did to .you can tell. He was really pleased to see her

Have been with the practice now for over 10 years and trust them to deliver the best possible care for my cats. The staff are friendly and always there for advice when I need it. Can not recommend them enough
