I qualified in veterinary medicine in January 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal and came to the UK to start my career as a vet. I’ve been at the practice since July 2019. My hobbies include going to the gym, travelling, walking and spending time with friends and family. I’m passionate about helping clients and their pets to be as happy as possible. At home I have a Bernese mountain dog called Yoshi.

Head Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a nurse in April 2016 after studying with Medivet Training College. Prior to joining St Albans in January 2015 I’ve worked in several different Medivet practices in the Watford area. I also obtained a BA Hons degree in Animal Behaviour at the Berkshire College of Agriculture and worked as a children’s nanny. I’m particularly interested in exotics, behaviour and nutrition. At home I’m owned by Dennis the Pug and Mary the rescue cat, along with four tortoises, Betty, Jinx, Crackers and Jenson. Outside of work I attend events to raise funds for Muffin Pug Rescue and Pug Welfare.

Have had my 11 month old cat registered at Medivet St Albans since we got her as a rescue. Have found every member of staff really approachable and supportive, including through a tricky post-spay recovery where my kitten required a lot of aftercare. 10/10, very glad to be registered there

Amazing vet! Our cat recently got diagnosed with cancer and had to have a leg amputated, they really reassured me throughout the whole process and gave me updates on how he was doing while he was there for the surgery. All the staff are really friendly and give my cat lots of attention when he comes in.

It was the first time for us at Medivet St Albans, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the vet took good care of our dog, asking about his medical history in details and his nutrition, giving us advices on how to improve it and what to do moving forward. I’d highly recommend it to everyone!

Always very helpful every time weve called, answering all our questions and arranging appointments where needed. We have a cat and a dog with them, who have both benefited thanks to the teams quick diagnoses.

Awful vet practice, used to be good years ago. Vet doesnt know what a cyst looks like and gives my dog hibi scrub which does jack. Already transferred to an independant vet and service is 5x better.

Great veterinary practice! They took in an injured wild hedgehog today, from a member of the public. The hedgehog had a broken hind leg, flystrike, was cold and dehydrated. They removed the flyeggs, warmed and gave her an xray. She's now been passed to us for rehabilitation (her leg will need splinting) and they have offered to do follow up xrays for her. This is a good veterinary practice who cares about wildlife, whilst sadly many vet practices would have just had her put to sleep. - London Colney Hedgehog Rescue
