Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2000 and did postgraduate studies in cardiology. I’ve been at Medivet since 2006 and arrived at Stanstead Abbotts in 2007. I love working at the practice as it is a beautiful area and our clients are lovely. I’ve wanted to be a vet since I was very young and come from a family of doctors. My interests are in treating heart disease, internal medicine and preventative medicine. I completed postgraduate studies in classical music so enjoy listening in my spare time. I also have two cheeky cats at home and a rescue cat at the practice called Wilma.

I joined Medivet in January 2024 and work at Medivet Little Hadham, as well as with the team here at Stanstead Abbotts. I am currently working as a Patient Care Assistant, with the hope of becoming a Student Veterinary Nurse. My end goal is to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and continue to work here at Medivet. In my spare time, as a L1 CrossFit coach, I enjoy taking part in and coaching CrossFit classes, as well as going on long walks in the countryside and going on family holidays to soak up the sun. My favourite part of the job is having lots of cuddles with our furry friends, as well as looking after our practice cat Wilma!

I joined Medivet in February 2024 as I love spending time with and caring for all animals. I hope to learn a variety of new skills as well as gain hands on experience in a veterinary environment. At home I have two Tibetan Terriers called Jessie and Georgie who have very different personalities. Outside of work I love to go out for dinner with my friends, go to the gym, watch lots of films and spend time caring for my many houseplants

I joined Medivet in September 2020, joining Stanstead Abbotts in 2021. I love caring for all the patients we have in and giving them the best care possible. At home I have three cats, Missy, Bullseye and Socks. I also have 2 dogs that live in Spain with my family called Viking and Jax. In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends and completing a puzzle or two. In the future I would like to go out on a wildlife experience and to also become a head nurse and clinical coach to help other student through their nursing career.

I joined Medivet in 2019 but then took a short break in 2021 and ran my own dog walking business. I then rejoined Medivet in 2023 and have just started my student nursing career. I have 4 cats; Doris, Winnie, Mabel and Max as well as two dogs; Barney and Frodo. I also have a horse called Ash. Outside of work I enjoy spending time riding/competing with Ash and taking Barney and Frodo on long walks around the countryside. My favourite part of the job is seeing/taking care of all the wildlife that gets brought in - especially the hedgehogs!

Wilma is also known as the big boss and many of you will see her as you arrive in reception on "her" chair or outside on sunny days. Marta rescued Wilma in 2019 and she's been here ever since. She has a loving but also feisty side and spends most of her days sitting on someone's lap getting the attention she deserves.

The staff are always super friendly and even though we are only attending appointments every 6 months, the nurse remember my dog and make her feel special. The appointments themselves are smooth and everything is clearly explained.

Would be willing to put a healthy, not aggressive xl bully down. Won’t trust any vet who’s ok with killing innocent dogs!

I called this morning to register my 2 year old cat who I have recently rescued, and ask to be seen as he had been vomiting persistently since Saturday morning after eating my neighbours plants (Lillies) My cat has IBD and it’s is a known fact that lilies are toxic for cats!! The receptionist told me they had no appointments until the following day and I would have to call at 8:30 in the morning as it was a first come first served basis and they don’t take appointments ?!?! She told me to monitor my cat and see if he got any worse then book him as an emergency or take him to the rescue centres vet (40 miles away near Southend)!!!! I explained that he had eaten a toxic plant and I was very concerned as he hadn’t eaten or drank since Saturday morning and was lethargic and vomiting every hour so I considered this to be an emergency! I just got the same, uninterested reply. Zero concern! I managed to get him seen elsewhere with another veterinary practice who clearly have experienced and knowledgable staff, and who have basically saved his life today. Had I left it till morning then the toxic shock my pet was experiencing was life threatening! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MEDIVET NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE TO GET YOUR PET SEEN!!
