I graduated from the University in Romania 2 years ago , and I moved to the UK where I joined Medivet Thorpe Bay Shoebury Road after a short spell in Chelmsford. I really enjoy General Practice. I prefer Medicine to Surgery. I enjoy investigating many different conditions. Back home I have two pets Otto and Ozzy.

I qualified in 2010 and have been with Medivet since 2006. I’ve been at the Shoebury Road practice for three years and enjoy all aspects of my job role but am particularly passionate about emergency and poisoning cases. I also enjoy training future nurses. Outside of work I have volunteered in south Africa at a wildlife rehabilitation centre, looking after injured and orphaned animals. I also own a domestic short hair cat called Marty, who was a stray brought into the Southend 24-hour hospital.

I qualified in 2019 and took the position of Head nurse at Medivet Thorpe Bay Shoebury Road. I am "cat mad." I completed my Feline Nursing Diploma which I am very proud of. The kittens in the picture I hand reared, Fizz, Jake & Milo, which was exhausting but one of the best things I have ever done. I have 2 ragdolls at home and love them dearly. I very much enjoy being part of a team and mentoring student nurses and watching them grow in confidence in their nursing careers.

I started working for the practice in 2000, this year being my 20th year of service. I started as a part time receptionist and am now the Head Receptionist. I'm very proud to be part of the team at Shoebury Road. We pride ourselves on our good service, always putting our client’s needs first. Outside of work I'm married and have a daughter who this year has graduated as a social worker. My husband and I are foster carers for the local council. At home we have three rescue cats, Garfield, Bob and Rodney. We also have a Tortoise called Fred who is 57 years young. We're very fortunate to live by the sea, so spending time at the beach hut is a favourite pastime.

I've been at the practice for 14 years and love greeting clients and their pets. In my spare time I really enjoy travelling, particularly cruising. I also love watching sport.

I've been working at the practice for almost six years now. I started on a customer service apprenticeship for one year. I've always had a passion for working with animals and have always worked in the veterinary industry. When I was younger, I worked as a student nurse for five years, before starting a family. At home I have two beautiful children, Tyler who is 20 and Katie who is 18. They both make me very proud to be a mum. I really enjoy all aspects of my job and feel very lucky to be working in a lovely practice with a wonderful team of colleagues.

My dog went for a “simple surgery” and ended up dying from it! The vet said before he underwent it that he has a strong heart and no other issues that would cause the surgery to go bad so trusting what the vet was saying we underwent the surgery that cost over £5000 in the hopes that all are dogs little issues would be sorted and not cause him problems in later life! Anyway the vet said it all went well and then said we can see him and said he would be better off in the care of us at home so that’s what we done a day later he still was not eating and wasn’t acting himself he couldn’t take the painkillers that was given because he wasn’t eating so we took him back where they injected more “painkillers” and said he looks good and he will overcome it he’s just abit “out of it” an other day goes by my dogs in pain crying all night not sleeping so we took him back for them to say that he has got an infection and he will have to stay in under there care saying it’s serious later that day we get a phone call that he’s been put into a coma and is on a drip when we went to see him he was out of it and obviously not aware of what was going on as he was knocked out cold… the vet said he may improve but it doesn’t look great anyway why we had a family member stay with him we went back home to get a couple bits by the time we got into the door we had the phone call that are boy was no longer with us and had passed away! The vets was very un trustworthy and told us nothing but lies from the get go! All a money making task that they Cleary don’t care about the outcome of the dog or any other animal if the vets can’t do a simple job then why would they take such job on ! Disgusted is an understatement!!! Nothing will ever bring him back and now we have to live with wishing that we didn’t bring him there in the first place! Please please do your research on your dogs issues before you take them to the vet because it’s clear they haven’t got your pets best intrest at heart !

Brilliant Vets, not over priced, and really informative. Felt super comfortable leaving my cat there for the day and he came back happy and sound. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
