Meet our Partner, Tom Evans
I am the Partner and Lead Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet St Helens, becoming a partner here in 2013. I originally qualified from the University of Bristol in 2006 and began my career in traditional mixed practice before focusing on small animals over the past 15 years. I hold a certificate in Small Animal Medicine and enjoy both surgery and ultrasound. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, walking my dog Cyrille, and competing in Ironman triathlons.

Was a bit disappointed when they charged me £200 to put my cat down. The vet was very nice but I didn’t expect a £200 bill after my cat who I have had for nearly 17 years and I have been a loyal customer for all that time. All vets are a rip off because they play on your loyalty to the pet (cat, dog or whatever). They know you will pay anything to save them. The government should get involved with this, it’s appalling. Hang your heads in shame.

My dog is 13 and has been with another practice all his life, after some recent issues with that practice I wanted to find a Vet practice that actually care, as hes in his later years, visits are becoming more frequent, and I wanted him to feel relaxed, safe and cared for. That's exactly what we got here. The staff were patient, friendly and caring. Im so pleased I decided to move him here.

Was seen at the appointment time with no waiting, reception staff were nice and friendly, premises were lovely and clean. The vet was very nice and professional and did a thorough examination of our pet dog and we were also allowed to have the weight checked of our other dog at the same time. Overall a very good experience.
